Pay the wonderful Masai Mara Game Reserve a visit and treat yourself to the park's big game concentration. Cross the rolling plains and the famous acacia trees in search of Africa's Big Five. Visit also Lake Nakuru National Park, home to millions of flamingoes and as well the beautiful Lake Naivasha. So enjoy the perfect safari trip here in Kenya and get ready to turn your dream holiday safari into a reality.
On Lake Nakuru National Park, you will stay at the WCK Guesthouse or on a similar hotel, while on Lake Naivasha, you will stay at the Panorama Hotel or on a similar hotel and on Masai Mara Game Reserve, you will stay at the Enchoro Wildlife Camp or on a similar hotel.
Pick up from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) from Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. Then you will be driven southwards via the Rift Valley viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley for a brief stopover to view the escarpment. You will reach Nakuru in time for lunch which will be taken at Sarova Woodlands Hotel and Spa or similar followed by afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is known to be the bird’s sanctuary, the entire surface of the lake is covered by both the lesser and greater flamingoes, this park is also known for its Big Five, excluding the elephants. It is the only park in Kenya where you are assured of seeing both the white and the black rhinos. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel for a drive to Lake Naivasha. On arrival, you will visit Hell’s Gate Park, one of the few parks where you can walk or cycle to see the wild animals. Later, you will check in at the Naivasha Lodge or similar for lunch. Have an evening leisure or a boat ride then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Have your breakfast and drive via Narok town then to Masai Mara for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge or similar. After lunch, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive in Masaai Mara Game Reserve in search of the Cheetah. The Mara is famous for its black manned lion and yearly migrations of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya, dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Have your breakfast then leave the lodge for a whole day game drive in the park where you will not only enjoy but also admire the great wildlife which inhibits this unique park, both the zebras and the wildebeests migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Kenya and vice versa, this migration takes place from July to October annually.
As you admire the fantastic wildlife, have your picnic lunch just there at the Mara River. Several other animals are also present such as lions, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, oryx, you name it. Be back to the Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Wake up for the early morning game drive to see the animals at their early morning sunbathing for this is the best time to do so. You will be back to the lodge for late breakfast followed by the departure to Nairobi. On your way back, you will stop periodically to take breathtaking photos for remembrance, your lunch will be served en route where your arrival in Nairobi will be in the afternoon. End your journey in Nairobi with the sweetest memories ever to share with others.
While at the safari, you will be served different kinds of foods. East Africa offers an impressive range of foods and drinks to suit all visitors needs from vegetarian diets to full course meals. A traveler is almost guaranteed to find a mouthwatering dish with a wide variety of meats to fresh salads and drinks. The food is relatively safe to try which caters for international tourists. Soft drinks and alcohol are also readily available, cheap, and safe to drink.
Explore the beauty of the Masai Mara game reserve at an extra cost with a visit to the Maasai Village or nature walk with Maasai guides. Have a breathtaking balloon safari ride. While at Lake Naivasha, you can have a boat ride safari.
