Accommodation

Victoria Falls: Kabakwe Guest Lodge or Shongwe Lookout

For the first two nights, you will stay at one of Yoga Flame Studio's partner lodges in Victoria Falls (depending on availability). Both options offer:

  • Peaceful rooms and warm Zimbabwean hospitality
  • Excellent proximity to the waterfalls, town, cafés, and markets
  • Beautiful communal spaces to relax after your flights
  • You will enjoy curated activities around Victoria Falls, including guided visits, e-bike excursions, spa moments, and scenic meals.

Munga Silwane: Private Safari Concession (Hwange National Park)

For the next five nights, your experience unfolds in Munga Silwane, the new safari camp of Munga Plains, known for creating the first yoga retreat center in Botswana. Munga Silwane sits within Silwane Conservation Area, a private concession bordering Hwange National Park.

Hwange is Zimbabwe’s largest and most iconic national park, home to elephant herds, lions (Silwane means lion in the local language), leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and antelopes, and rare species such as African wild dogs. Because you are staying in a private area, animals roam freely around the camp, and you may spot wildlife directly from your room, the yoga shala, or the dining deck. This location is deeply immersive, wild, and unforgettable – ideal for grounding, contemplation, and reconnecting with nature.

At Munga Silwane, you will stay in comfortable “glamping tents” that offer a blend of luxury and outdoor experience. Both single and shared double room options are available, equipped with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including double beds, in-suite bathrooms, and wardrobes. These accommodations provide a cozy and immersive way to experience the wilderness of Zimbabwe.

Program

Yoga Program

Yoga Flame Studio believes that true transformation and healing arise when one is fully immersed in the natural world — when the mind quiets, the body listens, and space is created for deep connection and renewal.

To guide you on this journey, the retreat will be joined by Kara, one of Yoga Flame Studio's inspiring lead teachers from the Swiss crew. With her grounded presence and thoughtful approach, she will lead you through a variety of yoga practices including Rocket, Vinyasa, Yin, and more. Each session is designed to support the rhythm of the retreat, weaving together movement, breath, and stillness to create a harmonious and integrative experience.

Munga Silwane offers a dedicated yoga shala surrounded by nature, fully equipped with mats, blocks, and accessories, allowing you to arrive, settle in, and practice with ease — held by the landscape and the moment.
