            First time in Uganda

            We were picked up in the airport an hour late - but were just so grateful to see Charity and our guide, that it really didn’t matter. From there we had a long and bumpy ride which continued through most of west Uganda together with the most fantastic driver, Onesmus. He kept us safe, informed and amused through the entire journey. Very clever driving skills, great knowledge of the country and its mammal inhabitants, compassion for other people. Just a shame we had to say goodbye as we had other plans for the rest of our stay.
