Accommodation
During this 6-day safari, you will be accommodated for 5 nights in several accommodations. While in Amboseli National Park, you'll be accommodated at Ol Tukai Lodge for two nights. In Taita Hills Conservancy, you'll be accommodated at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge for one night. On your last two nights on the Kenyan coast, you will be staying at beach resorts.
Ol Tukai Lodge Amboseli
The essence of Africa Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephants with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Sarova Salt Lick Lodge
Set within the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, this remote hotel perched on stilts overlooking open plains is 10 km from the A23 road. Humble rooms with ceiling fans feature tea and coffee-making facilities, safes, and mosquito nets.
Amenities include a casual restaurant offering floor-to-ceiling windows, plus a bar with a terrace. Outdoor, wilderness dining options can be arranged. There's also a spa. Guided safaris and nature hikes are available. Event space is offered.

Program
Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
You will be picked up in Nairobi from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) or even your hotel. From there, you will be briefed by a representative from the company before you embark on the journey to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its scenery. The snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the landscape and open plains and provides the perfect backdrop.
You'll arrive in time for check-in at your preferred lodge before proceeding for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive in search of popular residents like the well-known predators and their prey, all while enjoying the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After that, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Enjoy an early morning game drive and then return back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in the park. Witness the diverse game and birdlife present in Amboseli National Park before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you have the option of enjoying the lodge’s amenities and possibly indulging in a spa session. In the evening, you may go on an optional game drive or stay indoors and make use of the facilities. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Pass by the famous Tsavo Conservation Area, which is made up of Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. The area is well known for its "man-eaters", a.k.a. the lions that attacked railway builders in years past.
You will arrive at your preferred lodge in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart for an afternoon exploration of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and traverse this expansive area in search of game. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Day 4: Fort Jesus
In the morning, you will have breakfast, check out of the hotel, and then begin your three-day stay at the coast. The adventure will commence at Fort Jesus, where you will learn not only the history of Mombasa but also about the architectural prowess of the Portuguese, who designed and built martial structures that are based on Renaissance-era values of proportions and geometrical elements.
Later in the day, you will visit Haller Park before making your way to the resort, where you will check-in, relax, and enjoy the coastal breeze by the beach. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 5: Shimoni
After a wonderful night, you will depart for Shimoni, where you will be received by your local guide. The guide will brief you on the day's activities, which can include snorkeling and dolphin watching. After enjoying the myriad of sea life, you will then be transferred to Wasini Island for lunch and possibly a village tour. Later you will be transferred to your resort for relaxation and your overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure to Nairobi
On this final day, you will bid farewell to coastal living and be transferred to the airport to catch a domestic flight to Nairobi whereby you will catch your onward flight home at JKIA.
