Park Side Safari Lodge is conveniently located just two kilometers from Tangi Gate, one of the main entrances to Murchison Falls National Park. Nestled along the banks of the Albert Nile, the lodge offers scenic walking trails and opportunities for canoe rides.

Your journey includes an exciting game drive across open savannahs, a scenic boat cruise along the Nile, a bush breakfast experience, and a visit to the top of the falls, where you'll witness the roaring cascade and its signature rainbow. Day 1: Entebbe / Kampala to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Begin your adventure with an early departure from Entebbe or Kampala, heading north toward Murchison Falls National Park. En route, take a break at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you'll have the opportunity to track rhinos on foot in their natural habitat. After the experience, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant within the sanctuary.
Continue your journey to Murchison Falls and check in at Park Side Safari Lodge upon arrival. Take some time to relax or, if you're up for it, set out on a short evening game drive (one to two hours) to catch a glimpse of the park's incredible wildlife. Alternatively, unwind at the lodge and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Day 2: Wildlife safari, Nile River cruise, and hike to Murchison Falls
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive across the park’s open plains, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and other animals native to the area. Return to the lodge for lunch before heading to Paraa for a boat cruise on the Nile at 14:00.
This scenic river safari offers close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the water’s edge, culminating at the base of the powerful Murchison Falls.
Disembark for a guided hike to the top of the falls. As you ascend, enjoy the refreshing mist and thunderous sound of the Nile forcing its way through a narrow gorge. At the summit, take in panoramic views of Murchison and Uhuru Falls. Along the way, your guide may share stories of the area's cultural heritage, including legends of ancient kingdoms and traditional ceremonies.
If time permits, stay a bit longer to witness the golden hues of sunset before returning to the lodge.
Day 3: Final game drive and return to Entebbe / Kampala
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and enjoy one last game drive through the park (time permitting), offering a final chance to spot any wildlife that you may have missed.
Begin the drive back to Entebbe or Kampala, with the option to stop for a meal at a local lodge along the way.
