Nyati Safari Camp
Nyati Safari Camp is built in a three-tier architectural design and is strategically located two kilometers from Amboseli National Park's main gate (Kimana Gate) and conveniently within the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac road. It is 240 kilometers from Nairobi, 16 kilometers from Amboseli airstrip, 20 kilometers from the Emali, 20 kilometers from the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac road and commands a panoramic view of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free standing mountain. With a total of 45 Tents, the camp is intimate and friendly with many personal touches.
Program
Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve
At 07:30, you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi city and transferred to the office to depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. On arrival, you will proceed to go on a game drive, tracking various species of animals and birds with your driver/guide. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Mara Eco Camp.
Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will proceed to enjoy a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for the game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. You will have a break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Eco Camp.
Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve - Nakuru
Today, after breakfast, you will depart the Mara Region for Nakuru. You will have lunch en route with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will have dinner and overnight stay at a budget mid-range hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will proceed to go on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingoes. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. After that, you will drive to Naivasha. Dinner and overnight stay at a budget mid-range hotel.
Day 5: Naivasha - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will take a nature walk in the Hell's Gate National Park. Then, you will have lunch and drive to Amboseli National Park. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Nyati Safari Camp
Day 6: Full day at Amboseli National Park
There will be a day of game drive in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if the weather conditions permit. Exciting Africa Holidays will cater for picnic lunches before returning to your accommodation at Nyati Safari Camp.
Day 7: Amboseli - Nairobi
You will go on an early morning game viewing and return to the camp for a full breakfast. After that, you will drive to Nairobi and be dropped off at your place of residence.
