Want to experience the “Wild Africa” in an authentic way? A camping safari is for you! Camping safari packages in Tanzania are the most pocket friendly. Many of Adventure Makers Tanzania's visitors choose to stay in tents in order to be close to nature and to the national parks’ beautiful landscapes.
During this safari, you will stay in tents in campsites inside or near the national parks you'll be visiting.
Leave Moshi / Arusha at 8:30 a.m. to Tarangire National Park and enjoy the rest of the day in game drives. The drive is about two and a half to three hours. This tour can be customized to different options such as sleeping inside the parks for both camping and lodging.
Early in the morning after breakfast, start driving to Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a full day game drive before returning back to your accommodation later evening. Get a hot shower at the campsite at the same time tea, juice, popcorn, coffee, or milk will be waiting for you on the table before dinner.
After breakfast, you will visit Lake Manyara National Park which is takes 10 minutes' drive from the camp. Have game drives in the park till lunch time then depart to Arusha. From there, you can extend your program whether you are flying back home, going to Zanzibar, trekking Kilimanjaro, or more.
Your daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner during this safari is included in the price.
Getting involved with the local culture in Tanzania is a must. The country has well over 100 ethnic groups and there are plenty of cultural practices to learn, delicious traditional foods to try, and fun conversations to partake in. If you don’t want to do it on your own, many tour groups offer excursions where you can stay in local villages or even go hunting with bushmen.
