Program

Day 1: Welcome to Moremi Game Reserve

Rise and shine! You set off for your Moremi adventure at 05:30 a.m., hoping to get there by 08:00 a.m. You'd want to set up camp early and explore as much of the surroundings as you can. You will head to the campsite, have tea and rusks, then set off on your Moremi drive. You will take time to explore the park and see what we can find in the early morning.

You will break off for a light lunch after the journey to Moremi and make some rounds in search of some animals, passing through lagoons and pools along the river channels as well as flat plains. You will then make your way back late afternoon and embark on reflecting on the sightings at camp.

Upon arrival at the camp, you will freshen up and thereafter do camp some activities. This ranges from traditional cooking master classes to traditional games, to learning how to do things the traditional way. You will be treated to a hot shower in the privacy of your en-suite tent and proceed to enjoy your campfire dinner.

Day 2: Get to know Moremi Game Reserve

On this day, you will have a hearty breakfast and then set off on an amazing, exciting morning game drive. Moremi is filled with amazing wildlife and you will set off early in order to catch the early birds as they rise. This is the perfect time to spot the wildlife as they roam the morning, greeting the day and being more active.

Upon return to the camp, you will freshen up and thereafter do some camp activities depending on timing (this ranges from traditional cooking master classes to having a siesta moment.) You will be treated to a hot shower in the privacy of your en-suite of the Meru tents and proceed to enjoy your campfire dinner and later head to bed. You will be sleeping in comfortable beds, a private bathroom, and a toilet. This will be a non-participatory camping trip, so the staff will be taking care of all camp chores.

Day 3: Travel back

Rise and shine to say goodbye to the most amazing landscapes with great memories to go home with. You will head out to access the renowned Moremi Game Reserve for some great game viewing one last time. Your journey back to Maun will still be filled with sightseeing and game viewing. As you say goodbye to the wonderful adventure, the beautiful wild scenery will accompany you back to Maun.

Location

Moremi Game Reserve is home to one of the world’s great wildlife species making the area spectacular for game viewing and bird watching, including all major naturally occurring herbivore and carnivore species in the region, and over 400 species of birds, many migratory and some endangered. Both black and white rhino, while rare to spot, have recently been re-introduced, now making the reserve a ‘Big Five’ destination.
