Sarova Stanley Hotel (1 night)

Set 1 km from the Maasai Market, this upscale hotel dating from 1902 is 1 km from the 13-hectare Uhuru Park and 2 km from Nairobi National Museum. The elegant rooms offer flat-screen TVs, safes and free Wi-Fi, plus minibars and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Upgraded rooms add sitting areas. Emayian Luxury Camp (2 nights)

At Emayian Luxury Camp, they offer personalized service to the guests so as to ensure maximum satisfaction. The camp is located at the hills of Ololaimutiek conservancy 1 km from the gate of the Great Maasai Mara National Reserve. The accommodation options include Zebra Deluxe Tent ideal for singles and couples, Elephant Junior suites ideal for small families or triples and quads, King Lions suites (2 bedrooms) ideal for large families, girlfriends and boy squads. Sarova Woodlands (1 night)

Lake Naivasha Sopa (1 night)

Set on 120 acres of Lake Naivasha’s southern shoreline in Africa’s Great Rift Valley, with acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to the resident giraffe, waterbuck, and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos. The guest cottages, with their ingeniously designed roofs, gently sweep away from one side of the main building to form a crescent which leads towards the lake shore.

Tulia Camp (2 nights)

Spread over lush greenery, ample space for privacy and a chance to relax and rejuvenate, Tulia Amboseli Safari Camp offers spacious tents, each with an unobstructed and stunning view of Mt Kilimanjaro. All rooms are generously sized and feature furniture and décor that has been sourced by local tradesmen and crafted by local seasoned artisans. Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi

Arrive at Nairobi’s JKIA International Airport where a representative will be waiting to receive you. After a short brief on your safari and itinerary, transfer to your city center hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or pick one of their city tours and excursions in Nairobi depending on your timings.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Early morning pick up from your city hotel. Board the jeep and after every guest has been picked up head to the Mara with the first stopover at the great escarpments for a photo session. Continue with the 5 hours' drive. Arrive at your camp for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing. Based on the other guest’s hotels, agree on a pick-up time for the afternoon game drive where you enter the park gate at 4:00 pm. Here you will search for zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and lions. At sunset and after a wonderful time drive back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

This morning after breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the camp at your agreed time, with a packed picnic lunch box, and transfer you to the main reserve for a full-day game drive. Here, you'll have the opportunity to spot the big five along with other animal species in the reserve. Drive to the banks of the Mara River to witness the wildebeest crossings and observe crocodiles patiently waiting for their prey. Enjoy lunch here or under an acacia tree, overlooking snorting hippos in the water and the stunning landscape. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to find animals most active during these hours. After a wonderful day, exit the park and return to the camp/lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Nakuru

After breakfast, check out from the camp and meet the driver and the rest of the group at the agreed time. Drive to Lake Nakuru with bathroom, lunch and coffee stopovers along the way. Upon arrival in Nakuru, check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the evening relaxing. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

Today early morning, have breakfast at the hotel and check out. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is a rhino sanctuary and the home to the endangered black and white rhino. Have a stopover at the Baboon Cliff for better views of the park and if you are lucky to spot flamingoes and bird life. Have an on-route drive searching for more animals as you head out of the park and drive to Naivasha. Arrive in time for late lunch. Check in at the hotel and have lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon having a boat ride at Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Naivasha – Amboseli

Morning game drive at Hell's Gate National Park with an option for cycling (own account). Visit the Gorges, and the scenic parts of the park for a walk. After your adventure at Hell's Gate, exit the park and proceed to Nairobi. Here, you'll meet other travelers joining the safari and enjoy a delightful lunch at Carnivore Restaurant. Post lunch, proceed to Amboseli where you arrive at your camp for dinner. Spend the overnight at your camp.

Day 7: Amboseli

After morning breakfast, drive into the Amboseli National Park for a full day of game viewing. Here you will spot the large elephant herds, buffaloes, antelopes among other exciting wildlife. The birdlife is also in abundance from the pink flamingoes, spoon bill, Egyptian geese, among others. After a beautiful day in the park drive back to your camp for relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi – home

Early morning after breakfast drive to Nairobi with a stopover for shopping. Upon arrival, have an evening sunset game drive in Nairobi National Park, where you view the only park in a capital city as well as the animals found here. If lucky, watch the sunset with the giraffes and city towers from afar. After a wonderful time, exit the park and drop off at the airport / your hotel for continued stay.
