Eileen's Tree Inn - Day 1
The guest rooms at Eileen's Trees Inn are set in beautiful tropical gardens, and you’ll find a bar, small lounge area, and dining room in a rustic wooden building reminiscent of a treehouse. There are 20 rooms en-suite, single, double, triple, and family room is possible on request. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, privately situated throughout lush gardens. Each room has twin beds or a large (queen-size) bed with mosquito nets. All rooms have a writing desk and seating on the veranda. The bathrooms have a large shower with hot water on demand. Bottled drinking water is provided in every room.

Program
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After a safari briefing in the morning and an approximate 2-hour drive, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and seasonal marshes create the unique landscape of this nature reserve. Tarangire is one of the best places to see elephants up close, along with buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often followed by predators such as lions. Leopards may occasionally be seen, while cheetahs are rarely spotted. Enjoy wildlife viewing from an open-roof 4x4 safari vehicle. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will travel through the cooler highlands towards the eastern Serengeti. By midday, you will arrive at the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, the largest park in Tanzania, known for its diverse ecosystems, including grass plains, savannah, bushland, swamps, and lakes. Unique kopjes rock formations are common resting and hunting grounds for predators. The Serengeti is globally famous for the annual migration of wildebeests and zebras searching for fresh grazing land and water.
Day 3: Northern Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day on game drives in Northern Serengeti following wildlife migration routes depending on herd movement. Predators, including lions, leopards in acacia trees, and cheetahs, closely follow migrating herds. During the short rainy season (November to December), animals move southwards, while during the longer rainy season (April to June), they migrate northwards. Your guide will locate the best wildlife viewing areas based on migration patterns.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, travel to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive collapsed volcanic caldera. The crater is home to over 25,000 mammals, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, as well as spotted hyenas, wild dogs, and more than 500 bird species. After a full game drive and picnic lunch, you will return to Arusha / JRO in the afternoon.
