Program

Day 1: Nairobi

Today the team will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi for your overnight. Depending on your time of arrival, the team will be on standby to organize for you an optional city tour or a short game drive to Nairobi National Park.

Day 2: Nairobi - Naivasha

This morning, after breakfast, you proceed to Naivasha, arriving in the mid morning. After lunch you proceed for an afternoon boat ride in Lake Naivasha. Attractions today include waterbuck, hippos, and hundreds of bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara

Today you depart for Masai Mara after breakfast, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you proceed for the afternoon game drive till sunset. This enormous reserve is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home of the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Note that Masai Mara is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among them are: Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland, and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, and both Thomson’s and Grant's gazelles.

Day 4: Masai Mara

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During your stay you also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people (at an extra cost) to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi

Early morning tea/coffee or hot chocolate then depart for a morning game drive. Breakfast will be served at the camp, depart by road to Nairobi with game viewing en-route. Lunch will be served en route. After lunch, transfer to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight with Africa safari memories.
