Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, Samburu (2 nights)

Sarova Shaba Game Lodge is located in a natural oasis in the heart of the Shaba Game Reserve. It is set along the bank of the Ewaso Nyiro River laid out around the natural springs that flow into the river. The lodge has a virtual mini forest of indigenous trees, a fish pond, and a large free form swimming pool.

Serena Sweet Waters Tented Camp (1 night)

Serena Sweet Waters Tented Camp is located in a private conservancy with a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any of Kenya's national parks. This makes Sweetwaters Serena Camp one of the most exclusive tented safari camps in Kenya.

A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and Kenyan safari luxury.

Located on the plains of Mount Kenya, the camp features thirty nine luxury tents, each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole. Also within the house is the Kashoggi Bar and lounge, which centers on a blazing log fire. The Waterhole Bar, built in the style of a game viewing hide, overlooks the waterhole and offers unrivaled wildlife-watching.

The Ark (1 night)

The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from wherein numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. The Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity.

There is also a ground level bunker, the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer. This is a circular pillbox-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety.
