The lodge has a virtual mini forest of indigenous trees, a fish pond, and a large free form swimming pool.

Serena Sweet Waters Tented Camp (1 night)

Serena Sweet Waters Tented Camp is located in a private conservancy with a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any of Kenya's national parks. This makes Sweetwaters Serena Camp one of the most exclusive tented safari camps in Kenya.

A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and Kenyan safari luxury.

Located on the plains of Mount Kenya, the camp features thirty nine luxury tents, each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole. The Waterhole Bar, built in the style of a game viewing hide, overlooks the waterhole and offers unrivaled wildlife-watching.

Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from wherein numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. So that you don’t miss any animal sightings, the night guard will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. The Ark has four viewing areas for observing the ever-present animal activity.

There is also a ground level bunker, the perfect hideout for the discerning photographer. This is a circular pillbox-like structure, and it is from this vantage point that pictures of animals on the salt lick only yards away may be taken through the view holes in complete safety.

Sleeping Warrior (2 nights)

At the Sleeping Warrior in Elementaita, there are ten widely spaced rooms, each housed in a stone-built cottage with high-vaulted thatched roof and outshot deck. Featuring luxurious queen sized beds and hand-made furniture made from the cedar fence posts that once delineated the colonial ranch, each room has its own color scheme and has been named after the fabulous birds that flit around the individual gardens that surround each cottage.

Each cottage features a charming bathroom with stunning views. The selection of rooms feature twin-bedded and double-bedded rooms, and each is also equipped with a day bed that can be turned into an additional single bed.
