Included in your package is a two-night accommodation in Bush Lodge. It is built on ecological principals, the bandas designed and spaced in such a way to maximize privacy and enhance the safari aspect of the lodge. Surrounded by the Queen Elizabeth National Park and bordering the Kazinga Channel, the lodge has a truly unique setting. Animals literally roam in and out of the camp, and the sounds of hippos and hyenas complement the starlit dinners.
Program
Day 1: Heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a warm breakfast, your guide will pick you up and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will be through Fort Portal. This will make you reach the park in the afternoon. After your check in at the lodge, an evening sundown game drive will be waiting to let you mingle with the wildlife before the sun goes down. Overnight stay will be at Bush Lodge.
Day 2: Game drives, water safaris, and nature viewing
Enjoy an early cup of hot tea or coffee before making the day an adventure. Head to the Kasenyi sector of the park for a game drive with thousands of Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants, etc.
An afternoon boat trip on the Kazinga Channel is memorable. This will bring you to different species of birds at the only bird sanctuary where different species birds gather in one open space and lots of wildlife, including the endless sighting of crocodiles. Retire to the lodge in the evening, driving through the channel track to see families of elephants and hippos coming out to feed. You will stay overnight at Bush Lodge.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe
After breakfast, the day will start with a morning game drive. Thereafter, you drive back to Kampala. You will stop in Mbarara for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center and then continue to the equator for a tea or coffee break and to buy souvenirs. You will arrive back in Kampala or Entebbe in the evening. If you are continuing your journey somewhere else or back home, the guide will drive you to the airport for check in, after refreshing at a day-use guest room near the airport.
