Location
Your safari trip will take place in Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda.
Lake Mburo National Park
Since illegal encroachment on the park and rampant poaching is grounded to almost zero, the park has a lot of animals within its locality. Lake Mburo boasts lots of antelopes and being the only park with impalas in Uganda, with an introduction of giraffes which blend with the beauty of the zebras. While on a game drive, you will see zebras, elands, lots of bushbucks, defassa waterbucks, topis, common duiker, warthogs, and smaller mammals like dwarf mongoose and marsh mongoose.
Leopards and spotted hyenas are also residents of the national park. A list of birds can be found too while on a game drive in the park. The papyrus swamps help the sought-after bird shoe bill to breed and the shores of Lake Mburo belong to the best places in Uganda to see the African fin foot.
