Program
Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en route. Have a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at fixed tents.
Day 2: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro with your picnic lunch. The main crater is 165 kilometers and contains populations of various species including black manned lions, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, and other grazing animals. Dinner and overnight at basic fixed tents.
Day 3: Ngorongoro - Serengeti
After breakfast, you will leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge (optional activity). Lunch is at the Gorge Museum. Visit various sites of the gorge to see the remains of a prehistoric man discovered by the famous archeologist Dr. LSB Leakey. You will proceed to Serengeti Plains with afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at the basic fixed tents.
Day 4: Serengeti - Tarangire
After breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire with lunch en route. Have an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion, and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the basic fixed tents.
Day 5: Serengeti - Arusha
After breakfast, have your final game drive in Tarangire National Park. Depart to Arusha with your lunch en route arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight home or drop you at the hotel. End of the safari.
