Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge
Located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, the Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. The lodge has 50 guest cottages divided into two wings to either side of the main public areas. Each of these houses has two spacious guest rooms with queen and king size beds, mosquito nets, electronic safes, dressing tables, en-suite bathrooms, and sheltered verandas that all have views over the gardens and the game reserve beyond.

Sample itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara.
At 07:00, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and transferred to the Wilson airport, where you board your morning flight to the Masai Mara. The 1-hour flight provides overviews of the Kenyan landscape, including the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Arrive at the Mara airstrip in mid-morning. There shall be a short game viewing drive as you head to your safari lodge accommodation. Afternoon game viewing drive in search of lion, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippo, warthog, elephant and many more! Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge / similar.

Day 2: Full Day at Masai Mara
Today shall be a game-viewing extravaganza! The Masai Mara Game Reserve remains the most exciting wildlife ecosystem in the natural world. It is home to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals of any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree-studded savannah plains, the moderate climate, and the diversity of wild game species make it a one-stop shop for game-viewing activities. You shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing, encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as you watch hippos and crocodiles, or maybe the great migration (July - October). Overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge / similar.

Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Early morning game viewing drive. After breakfast, proceed for an extra short game viewing drive as you head to the airstrip. Fly to Wilson Airport. At 11:45, you'll arrive at Wilson Airport. You will be transferred to your city hotel / residence.

The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing. Game drives are a great way to experience the park and they take place all year round.
