About the safari

This is a conservation boast of the amazing diversity of animals, including the non-indigenous chimpanzees, the Big Five (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and lion), and other game such as buffalo, gravy zebra, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle, and black-back jackals.

Location

The safari will take place in Kenya and Tanzania.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

The most spectacular feature is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle from the plains of Serengeti that cross the Tanzanian border and rivers to reach the Mara’s grasslands from late June, tracked by predators and circled by vultures as the journey unfolds.

Kusini

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, impalas, buffalo, birds, and up to 10,000 elephants.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

With walls 2,000 feet high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 square miles, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. The crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.
