Accommodation
Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp or Similar (2 nights)
This small and delightful camp is situated in the southeastern corner of the Kruger National Park, on the northern bank of the Crocodile River, from which it derives its name.
After an early morning game drive, one can retire from the Lowveld heat to a lunch of prawns before coming back for a late afternoon game viewing. The game viewing area is known as the ‘Southern Circle’ and is renowned for its concentration of different prides of lion with different hunting techniques and behavior. It has an abundance of prides, herds, troops, packs, and swarms.
The area is also home to a larger percentage of the Kruger National Park‘s total rhino population. Go and experience humans living in harmony with nature. At Crocodile Bridge Rest Camp, one has the ability to experience the sharp contrast between the wilderness and the world out there.

Satara is well wooded, and the birdlife is prolific. At night, the clink of fruit bats is fused with the chirping of cicadas and crickets. The calls of owls and nightjars add to the symphony that is punctuated intermittently by the whoop of hyenas, the screech of jackals, and the roars of lions.

Day 2: Full-day safari at Kruger National Park
At dawn, wake up for your first game drive of the day. With excitement in the pit of your stomach for what the day ahead holds, wake up before sunrise to get a head start on things.
Peeling yourself out of bed might be a challenge momentarily. However, right outside the comfort of your accommodation, the bush is alive with nocturnal animals that are still active, along with the other animals making use of the cool morning to move to the watering holes. What better way to start the day than including a lion or leopard to your Kruger Park Safari checklist!
08:00 - Mid-morning snack
Having witnessed the wildlife fortunate enough to grace the waterholes, the early morning start has undoubtedly stirred up a similar thirst in you. After a few hours of game viewing, your guide will find a beautiful spot to stop at. There, you will be able to satisfy your own needs with some hot coffee / tea and delectable biscuits (South African rusk).
10:00 - Breakfast / at leisure
Move along before stopping for breakfast, which will be prepared outdoors at a picnic site. The rest of the day will be at your leisure, with no responsibilities other than relaxing by the pool during the heat of the day or under the garden trees as you identify the many incredible birds found there.
With magnificent views of the surrounding bushveld, you won’t be short of the very many reasons that the outdoors is a continuous and ever-changing work of art.
15:00 - Afternoon game drive / sundowners and snacks
It will be time to set off on your afternoon game drive, which comprises the sunset, an open game drive vehicle, and the Kruger Park guides. As darkness comes rolling in, swap the natural light of the sun for the vehicle’s spotlights, giving you the chance to see nocturnal creatures in their own habitat.
This will be your chance to spot those elusive night-time animals that you have missed during the day, such as bush babies, genet cats, and hyenas.
19:00 - Dinner
Return to camp to freshen up before meeting around the campfire to share your stories of the day. Have a delicious supper, again prepared by your guide in true South African style - on sizzling coals under an array of African stars.
20:00 - Fence walk
There is no better way to end your adventure-filled day than the way you started it: surrounded by untouched nature. At this stage, your Kruger Park safari tick list will be rather lengthy. However, for the items that are still missing, you can make full use of your experienced guide and the knowledge that they possess in order to complete them.
Return to camp and head to bed with a nightcap of Amarula (South African fruit) cream liqueur on ice, ready for another day of exploration that tomorrow shall bring.

Day 3: Full-day safari and camp change
At dawn, the day starts. Head out on another early drive after your standard coffee kick-start. Your guide will use his superior skill to ‘hunt’ down those animals that you may not have had a chance to tick off yet.
08:00 - Breakfast snacks and check out
At this time, however, you will return to camp for your breakfast snacks and pack up, as you will change camps on this day. Endless Summer Tours like to move camps for various reasons: mainly a change of scenery and different wildlife and habitats. You will still be on the game drive as you go, and the ever-changing African bush is full of anticipation. Hopefully, the Big Five had been safely captured in your memories and on your bucket list, leaving room for creatures such as the endangered wild dog and cheetah - what a bonus!
10:00 - Rest and refuel
Stop at a picnic spot along the way for another legendary breakfast in the bush!
14:00 - Check-in
Check into your new camp before freshening and putting your feet up whilst you wait for things to cool down. Head out for an afternoon drive and explore the new area. Snacks will be served along the way: cheese and biscuits, and not to be missed, the traditional South African biltong.
19:00 - Dinner
It’ll be time to make your way back towards camp as the sun seeps over the endless plains of vegetation. After all, you don’t get much better than a sunset in the African bushveld and the sounds and sights of the animals settling down for the night. Supper will once again be served under the sparkling night sky.
- Main destination: Kruger National Park

Day 4: Departure day
04:30 - Rise and shine
You will rise a bit earlier this morning because you will take a game drive with the park guides in an open vehicle again. The morning drive will leave before gate opening when the human traffic is low and the animal traffic is high. Afterward, return to camp to have breakfast and proceed to check out.
10:00 - Home time
Drive through the park as you head to the exit gate to make your way back to Johannesburg, therefore giving you that one last chance to spot something special. Your four-day Kruger Park safari itinerary has come to a close, albeit leaving you with all the sights, smells, and sounds of the African bush to keep forever as a memory.

Location
Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is located in the Lowveld in the northeastern region of South Africa and spans across two provinces, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. It is not only the largest national game reserve in South Africa, but it is also the most prestigious and impressive.
This world-renowned park, which occupies an area of about two million hectares or 20,000 square kilometers, is home to a large variety of fauna and flora.
The park, which boasts the richest assortment of life forms in Southern Africa, offers one of the best safari and game viewing experiences. It is about 360 kilometers long from north to south, about 65 kilometers wide from east to west, and is about the same size as Wales.
Kruger National Park, which is famous for its abundant wildlife, is also a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques.
The Kruger, before being proclaimed a national park in 1926, was part of the Great Limpopo Frontier Park. This massive peace park links the Kruger with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique. Zimbabwe lies to the north and Mozambique to the east of the park.
Several rivers flow through the Kruger in an easterly direction, including the Sabie, Olifants, Crocodile, Letaba, Luvuvhu, and Limpopo rivers.
