You will spend your 2 nights in a double or triple room at Lenchada tented camp. This camp is a self-contained tent with hot shower inside.
On the first day, you will be picked up in Nairobi around 08:30. After the briefing, you will start your safari adventure by driving via the Great Rift Valley. You will stop at the valley to admire and take a photo of Mount Longonot. Africa's Great Rift Valley is a 6,000-mile crack in the earth's crust, stretching from the Middle East in the north to Madagascar in the south. Afterward, you will have lunch in Narok and arrive at Maasai Mara at 15:00. After a refreshment with a cup of coffee, you will enjoy an evening game drive from 16:00 to 18:00. Afterward, you will return for meals and stay overnight at Lenchada tented camp.
After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive from 07:00 to 18:00. Moreover, you will have a picnic at Mara River. At 17:00, you can choose between visiting Maasai Village or continuing game drive until 18:00. All meals and accommodation will be provided at Lenchada tented camp.
On your last day, you will have a pre-morning game drive at 06:30 to see the early hunters. Then, you will return to your tented camp for stem breakfast at 09:00. You will depart from Maasai Mara for Nairobi at 10:00 and have lunch in Narok. You will arrive in Nairobi at 17:00 and end your safari adventure.
Note: Your transport will be in a safari tour van with a pop-up roof to view game drive.
Maasai Mara is the land of African legend where lions are abundant throughout the park, as well as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of gazelle species. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen while rhinos are less commonly seen. Furthermore, the annual wildebeest migration occurs from July to September. On this time, big animals and their predators will be present in abundance. Additionally, several species of bee-eater, the flying rainbow bird which is the top of the Maasai Mara bird list, also present in the reserve as well.
