Program
Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve (260km, 5 hours)
You will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a Nairobi hotel and depart to Masai Mara National Reserve. There will be a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for some minutes before proceeding. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara in good time for lunch and rest for some minutes before a game drive.
The afternoon game drive will be at 15:30, allowing for spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park, ranging from the Big Cats such as lion, leopard, and cheetah to rhino, elephant, and wildebeest. Return to your camp by 18:30.
Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve (8 hours)
You will have two game drives on this day: one in the morning from 06:15 to 09:00, followed by breakfast, and the other will be in the late afternoon after lunch, from 15:30 to 18:30. The wildlife is usually more active during these times of the day.
As your Masai Mara safari is private, your game drive timings will be flexible, which is useful if you will be traveling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi (260km, 5 hours)
At the break of dawn, you will embark on your concluding safari game drive in Masai Mara, followed by a relaxed breakfast back at the camp, then an onward departure back to Nairobi by road. Arrive in Nairobi by early afternoon at approximately 15:00. Drop off will be at your hotel or go for the free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
