Program

7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East pure safari

Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara (280 kilometers)

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a tour representative and thereafter be driven further southwest through the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a stopover at the hometown of the Masai herdsmen. Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch.

Afternoon game drive in the vast Mara plains in search of predators such the lions with dark manes, cheetahs, leopards, and many herbivores especially during the yearly migration of wildebeest between July-September. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (full board).

Day 2: Masai Mara

Optional balloon flight in the early morning or a full day in the Mara dedicated to game drives with picnic lunch at the Mara River. Afternoon optional visit to Masai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (full board).

Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha (250 kilometers)

Breakfast and later depart for Lake Naivasha arriving at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake with a picturesque view of Mount Longonot, hippos, and over 400 species of birds on the island including pelicans, African fish eagles, African darter, cormorants, and the lesser flamingos which are migratory. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge (full board).

Day 4: Lake Naivasha - Amboseli (320 kilometers)

Breakfast and later drive south to Amboseli National Park arriving at Amboseli Kibo Camp for lunch. Amboseli is home to the famous Masai tribesmen where a visit to the Masai village would be optional. Afternoon game drive, with good weather giving the possibility to see the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Kibo Camp (full board).

Day 5: Amboseli - Tsavo West (155 kilometers)

An early game drive in Amboseli National Park gives you the possibility to view the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro when the weather permits. Here, you may see herds of elephants, hyenas, lions, and cheetahs on a morning hunting spree. Return to your Amboseli safari lodge (Kibo) for breakfast and thereafter join the 09.00 o’clock convoy to Tsavo West National Park making a stop at the Shetani Lava for a brief history of this geographical feature which dates back to more than 500 years ago.

Check-in at the Chyulu gate and later proceed to Mzima Springs where you can view fish, crocodiles, hippos, and other aquatic animals from an underground observation tank. Arrive at Kilaguni Serena Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo West National Park before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight (full board).

Day 6: Tsavo West - Tsavo East (130 kilometers)

Have breakfast and thereafter proceed on a game drive and thereafter drive along the Mombasa/Nairobi highway to enter Tsavo East National Park through Manyani Gate with a game drive en route to Ashnil Aruba Lodge for lunch. Then, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the red elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and many other animals including the cats family. Dinner and overnight in Ashnil Aruba Lodge (full board).

Day 7: Tsavo East - Mombasa (210 kilometers)

Early breakfast and thereafter morning game drive en route to Mombasa arriving at your beach hotel in the afternoon. End of services.

Starting from Nairobi, this safari tour will take you to Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Tsavo West, and Tsavo East National Parks.

Lake Naivasha is the only freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, here you get to enjoy a boat ride and view vast birdlife and hippopotamus.

Amboseli National Park is one of the premier national parks in Kenya which offers the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain in Tanzania.

Tsavo West National Park ecosystem comprises open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation, and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Attractions at Tsavo West; Mzima Springs, the Shetani lava flows, and Taita Hills.

Tsavo East National Park is one of the largest wildlife parks in Kenya. Large herds of dust-red elephants can be seen all over the park.

Meals included while on safari are breakfast, lunch, and dinner as you will be on full board accommodation throughout your safari. Drinking water will also be offered.
