Though not as popular of a destination as others in Botswana, a safari tour in Makdadikgadi Pan is definitely worth a try. During the rainy season, herds of various animals head north to the Nxai Pan. They pass through Makgadikgadi Pan itself, which is a part of the migration route. Just picture the creatures moving in this wonderful location. With the pans turning into an oasis during that time, it's hard to imagine a more picturesque safari.
