Location

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru National Park has been a blazing sea of deep pink flamingos – millions of them! Their intense fuchsias bursting against Lake Nakuru’s deep blue alkaline waters. Quite simply… it has until some few years ago been the most brilliant show of birdlife on earth.

Due to some progressive natural factors, the flamingo numbers have been reducing but the park itself remains stunning – one of Kenya’s finest. Great rocky escarpments tower over acacia forest, waterfalls, wooded hills and euphorbia trees dot the lake.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most popular park. This is where you go to spot Africa’s “Big Five” of lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. And about 90 other varieties of mammals. If you want to gaze upon the throne of the wild kingdom you must experience the Masai Mara – its crown jewel.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is home to Tanzania’s largest elephant population, who are drawn to the seasonal waters of the Tarangire River from which the park gets its name. In addition to these large elephant herds, the park’s distinctive landscape is dotted with beautiful baobab trees and has one of the greatest concentrations of game in Tanzania.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti is Tanzania’s most famous national park is deserving of its renown. The home of the world-famous Great Wildebeest Migration, the Serengeti National Park is consistently ranked as one of the best national parks in the entire world.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros. Home to the entirety of the Big Five, Ngorongoro is a natural wonder that needs to be seen to be believed.
