Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will depart in the morning after a warm breakfast. Range Land Safaris Uganda's driver will pick you up from your accommodation and then drive to the southwest of Uganda, taking you through Central Uganda.
You will have an en-route lunch at the Igongo Culture Centre, and from there, you will continue the drive through farmlands on to the rolling hills of Kabale and villages, before reaching Rushaga in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your accommodations for day 2 and 3 will be Gorilla Valley Lodge or Rushaga Gorilla Camp.
Day 3: Gorilla tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today, you'll enjoy the gorilla tracking experience. After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point for a briefing and, thereafter, start trekking with the guide to the allocated gorilla group. Range Land Safaris Uganda is proud to inform you that they have organized a memorable gorilla habituation experience.
On reaching the gorillas, the guide will allow you to spend at least 1 hour with the mighty creature. The guidelines on how to behave while with the gorillas will be given by the guide. The trek can take 3-9 hours depending on the area where you find the gorillas. It is a real hiking and being physically fit is recommended.
Please note that gorilla permits are booked in advance. Range Land Safaris will book your permit and have it available for your gorilla experience.
Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Entebbe
After breakfast, you shall drive to Kampala. The guide will make a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and then continue to have a stop at the equator for souvenirs. The guide will then bring you back to the starting point or direct to the airport if your flight is late in the evening.
