Tremisana Game Lodge
You will stay at Tremisana Game Lodge for one night. Tremisana Game Lodge is the largest and leading lodge in this section, having a total of 15 chalets plus a two-bedroom guesthouse. It can accommodate a maximum of 40 guests. Each room of the lodge has an en-suite shower, toilet, and basin. All units are air-conditioned.
The lodge is serviced by two excellent boreholes. Its proximity to the tar road means Tremisana Game Lodge is easily accessible all year round, including during the rainy season.
The presence of lions, elephants, and buffaloes necessitates an electric fence around the camp. Perhaps the most striking feature of Tremisana Game Lodge are the beautiful gardens. The presence of numerous bougainvilleas, various palms, and cycads gives the camp a subtropical feel.
Water features add a soothing effect, making the overall feel of Tremisana Game Lodge very relaxing. At night, the subdued light from the illuminated paved walkways lends a romantic and magical ambiance to the camp.

Marc's Treehouse Lodge
You will stay in a tent at Marc's Treehouse Lodge for three nights. With seven tents, the lodge offers rustic but comfortable accommodation geared to put one in close contact with the sights, sounds, and scents of the wild. Amenities include electric fans, mosquito nets, comfortable beds, linen, towels, and soap. It has a swimming pool, a bush bar, and a boma where meals are served.
You can relax around the crackling campfire and share your impressions of the day’s wildlife trip.At the lodge, you can inhale the fresh, balmy air of African bush veld.
Fall asleep to the gurgling of the river, interrupted by the eerie whoops of hyena, spine-chilling wails of jackals, and the plaintive cry of the thick-tailed bush baby. Awaken to the melodious chorus of birdsong and watch the activity of wildlife drinking at the river or at the spotlit waterhole.

Programma
Day 1: Gauteng / Johannesburg - Balule Nature Reserve
You will be picked up from your hotel in Gauteng or O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) and travel via the Highveld grasslands to the subtropical Lowveld. At Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule section of the Kruger National Park, you may unwind at the bar, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool, and relax in the beautiful tropical gardens.
Then, you will board to an open Land Cruiser for a 3-hour sunset drive that will be your first opportunity to experience the varied fauna and flora of Africa. You will then watch the magnificent African sunset and after dark, you will use spotlights to locate nocturnal animals. Dinner in the Boma will be a traditional South African meal. Your overnight stay will be in an en-suite chalet.
Day 2: Olifants River
At sunrise, you will drive to a remote spot along the Olifants River to enjoy a 4-hour bush walk. Your ranger will lead you through the bush at a pace you can handle. The thrill of following big animals will remain with you forever. Adrenalin surges will be acute even if your ranger is adequately armed. You will return to Tremisana for brunch. At 15:00, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Afterwards, you will be transferred to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge where the accommodation is in tents near the Klaserie River. The tents are equipped with beds and bedding, soap, towels, electric light, and fan. Dinner and overnight will be at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge.
Day 3: Orpen Gate
You will drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger on a custom-built open-sided game viewer. You will have an opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. Viva Safaris has regular stops at picnic spots, rest camps, and places of interest.
The Orpen-Satara-Nwanedzi region’s open plains attract large herds of zebras, giraffes, and antelopes that in turn, attract many predators. In fact, this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa.
Day 4: Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre - Sunset Game Drive
After breakfast, you will travel to the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre for injured and orphaned animals and birds. You will have an opportunity to get close and personal to some of the residents including lions and leopards. Sunset game drive in Balule. Overnight will be at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge.
Day 5: Gauteng
You will enjoy a sunrise walk. After breakfast, you will drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendors including the Three Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon. You will then return to Gauteng in the late afternoon. Airport drop-off will be scheduled by an arrangement.
Vehicle
The safari is conducted on nine-seater open game-viewing vehicles. The open game viewers offer elevated vantage positions from where your game-viewing and photographic opportunities are greatly enhanced. All the game-viewing vehicles are 4x4 conversions with access to all roads in all weather conditions.
