Accommodation
The lodges used for this safari are Voi Wildlife Lodge (first night) and either Taita Hills Resort or Saltlick Lodge (second night)
Voi Wildlife Lodge (first night)
Officially opened in 2003, the lodge is situated on a 25-acre site on the boundary of Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest game parks with spectacular views of nearby volcanic outcrops, such as the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills. Designed to blend unassumingly into the surrounding environment, the lodge boasts a natural waterhole often attracting big game, including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo as well as a rich variety of birdlife.
Accommodating up to 300 guests, all rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms and are furnished in African decor that is replicated throughout the lodge. The luxury rooms comprise two four-poster beds and views of the savannah, which one can enjoy from the comfort of one’s balcony or terrace.

Program
Day 1: Mombasa - Tsavo East
Departure from the Mombasa region at 5:00 a.m. Enjoy a game drive on the way to the lodge, arriving at noon at Voi Wildlife Lodge. After a 2-hour game drive, have lunch and relax. At 16:00, enjoy another game drive until 18:20, then return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Taita Hills
Early morning breakfast followed by a game drive until 10:00 a.m. Check out of the park and drive toward Taita Hills. Check in at Taita Hills Lodge and then continue with a game drive on your way to Salt Lick Lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax until 16:00. Enjoy another game drive until 18:20, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Taita Hills to Mombasa Region
Early morning game drive until 8:00 a.m. Have breakfast, then enjoy a 1-hour game drive before checking out of the park and driving toward the Mombasa region or Diani Beach. Lunch will be served at a restaurant along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway.
