Nyerere Green Lodge is a new lodge in the southeast of the world-famous Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in East Africa. (more significant than the country of Switzerland). The lodge started operating in June 2024 with 10 fully finished double rooms with complete air conditioning and hot water.
Program
Day 1
Kanuth Adventure Safari will pick you up from a designated point in Dar es Salaam and transfer you to the Nyerere National Park. The journey will take you about 3-4 hours, depending on the road conditions. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your lodge for a hot lunch and some relaxation.
At 4 p.m., embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. This river safari will take place inside the park. After sunset, you will be taken back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive at Nyerere National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park, complemented by a picnic lunch. This is an excellent opportunity to observe a diverse range of wildlife in their natural habitat. Expect to encounter animals such as buffalo, hippos, wild dogs, lions, elands, bushbucks, giraffes, impalas, baboons, zebras, crocodiles, greater kudus, and the rare sable antelope. The park’s landscape is awe-inspiring.
After sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Wilderness Walking & Maasai Visit, Return to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, enjoy an exhilarating wilderness walking safari, one of the most exciting experiences in Tanzania, accompanied by armed rangers for safety. Return to the camp for a full breakfast.
Later, transfer to the Maasai Boma for a cultural tour. You will have the opportunity to learn about the Maasai community and their traditions and participate in their dances. Drive back to your accommodation for a hot lunch, then leave the park and return to Dar es Salaam, where the tour will conclude at the agreed-upon point.

Exciting game drives
Discover Nyerere National Park by having an exciting game drive using your 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with the pop-up roof. The professional, experienced guide knows where to find animals at different times of year and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a chance to see as much as possible.
Wilderness walking safari
You will walk inside the park following the animal's nature tracks. Admire giraffes, warthogs, antelopes, and other wildlife in their natural habitat.
Location
This safari will be held at Nyerere National Park. The northern part of this game reserve, open for safari tours, contains a wealth of animals, birds, and various biotopes, from Miombo woodland, where leopards lurk, through open savanna, to vast swamps full of hippos and crocodiles.
