Accommodation

Program
This safari promises a balance of efficient travel, authentic experiences, and nature’s stunning landscapes, all wrapped up in one amazing getaway. The trek can last between two and six hours, depending on the gorilla’s location. Moderate physical fitness is recommended.
The Batwa are one of Uganda’s indigenous groups. Their traditions, dances, and way of life offer an authentic cultural experience alongside gorilla trekking.
The dry seasons (June to September and December to February) are the best months for gorilla trekking, though it is available year-round.
Minimum participation (seven participants)
While originally structured as an intimate small-group journey, Diminuendo Adventure Safaris' operational model prioritizes flexibility and guest experience. They welcome individual bookings at any time, regardless of group formation status. Should minimum numbers not be reached, the experience will be elevated into a fully private, tailor-made safari. Departures are guaranteed and are never canceled due to low participation.
Booking window and cut-off
To maintain the highest service standards and guarantee permit availability, Diminuendo Adventure Safaris recommends confirming bookings at least 21 to 30 days prior to departure. Select last-minute bookings may be accommodated, subject to permit availability, though availability is typically limited due to the protected nature of the experience.
