Accommodation
During the safari, you will stay nine nights in comfortable lodges with en-suite bathrooms and four nights camping with shared ablutions.

Program
Day 1: Livingstone
Arrival in Livingstone, transfer to Maramba River Lodge. Overnight in en-suite safari tents. Dinner in the restaurant.
Day 2: Kafue National Park
On the morning of day two, you start your safari to Kafue National Park. You have time to explore the southern area of this huge park on your game drives. Camping at Hornbill Campsite near the Nanzhila Plains.

Days 3 - 4: Kafue National Park - Lake Ithezi Thezi
You carry on to Lake Ithezi Thezi. The scenery on the lake shore is beautiful and wildlife is plentiful on the floodplains and shoreline. Overnight in chalets at Nanzhila Lake Camp.

Days 5 - 6: Kafue National Park - Central Part
Along the Spinal Road, you drive to the central area of the national park. You do game drives in this area. Camping at Kasabushi Camp on the bank of the Kafue River.

Days 7 - 8: Busanga Plains
Transfer to Busanga Plains in the morning of day seven. This area can only be visited in a very limited time of the year. You will spend two days in this remote wilderness exploring the area on game drives. Overnight at Kasonso Camp in en-suite safari tents.

Day 9: Kafue National Park
You drive through Kafue National Park to the central part of the park and set up your tents at Roy’s Campsite. For sunset, you do a game drive in this area. Camping.

Day 10: Lusaka
In the morning, you pack up camp and drive to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. You stay overnight at Lilayi Lodge and can do a game walk or game drive on the farm in the afternoon. Dinner in the restaurant of the lodge at your own expense. Overnight in spacious Chalets at Lilayi Lodge.

Days 11 - 13: Lower Zambezi National Park
After breakfast, you drive through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi valley. A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights in Zambia. The Zambezi River on one side and the Escarpment on the other form the backdrop of your game viewing. You do game drives in the park and boating along the river shore to watch the animals come to drink. On one of these days, you will do a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi. You stay overnight in spacious safari tents at Kasaka River Lodge or Chalets at Lower Zambezi Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River.

Day 14: Departure
Transfer to Lusaka and departure in the late afternoon (alternatively, an additional night in Lusaka and departure on day 15).
