You’ll discover scenic Whitehorse, the Yukon’s capital; surrounded by endless mountains. On successive evenings, you’ll travel just outside the city center, but far enough from the city lights to an idyllic Northern Lights viewing location, the AuroraCentre. You will visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve on a shared tour where you’ll have the opportunity to view and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat. It's a photographer's and naturalist's dream to see Yukon's wildlife up close. On free days, you can choose from optional winter sightseeing, shopping, and touring in and around the capital.

Accommodation
During this tour, you will be staying at The Sternwheeler Hotel arranged by Arctic Range Adventure in Whitehorse.
Program
Day 1: Arrival Whitehorse
Transfer to your hotel located in the heart of the city, not far from the banks of the Yukon River. Later in the evening, you set out to the AuroraCentre where you'll seek the sight of northern lights. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.
Day 2: Wildlife viewing, Hot Springs, and Northern Lights viewing at the AuroraCenter
In the late morning, you will discover the sights of Whitehorse, historic and yet trendy, on a city tour with character. Visit the SS Klondike National Historic Site; among the last of the great paddlewheelers that plied the Yukon River system until the 1950’s, the Old Log Church; the oldest building in Whitehorse, the unique Log Cabin Skyscraper; a three story tower made completely out of logs.
Visit the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for close views of many of the Yukon’s large mammal species including elk, moose, mule deer, caribou, Dall’s sheep, mountain goats, bison and even the musk-ox of the high Arctic, all in their natural surroundings.
Not far from the preserve is Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs where you can indulge yourself in the natural hot springs and relax in a breathtaking winter mountain setting. Later that evening, you’ll be back on the road again to seek views of the stunning Northern Lights. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.
Day 3: Northern Lights viewing at the AuroraCentre
Free day for optional sightseeing and touring. In the winter season, you have the option to try one of the many Yukon winter activities. Later in the evening, you set out once more to the AuroraCentre where you’ll seek the sight of northern lights. Overnight hotel in Whitehorse.
Day 4: Departure Whitehorse
Transfer to the airport (Erik Nielsen International Airport (YXY)).
