Viva Safaris

All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Just to name a few: Margret :-)) at the Katakani lodge is a real gem. The guide Victor has a great humor and we had lots of fun. Thank you Raymond for the educational bush walk. Edward was great in organizing everything. And finally Lucky for driving us.

The Tremisana Lodge is a little bit outdated, but at a perfect location to get started. Short drives, we saw the omnipresent impala, elephants, giraffe, hippos. "Mama" at the lodge was a great cook.

The Katakana Lodge was what we expected for a luxury safari. It's quite a drive from there to Kruger NP, but it's well worth it: elephants, zebras, giraffes, antilopes and lions!

We enjoyed Viva Safaris a lot and definitely recommend it.

The transfer drivers were on time and drove very safely. The guides were informative and drove well. The food was very tasty.

Good Safari guides - although guides change every day. Very good food. Good animal viewing experience.

the whole experience was very good

The holiday was full on. The 6 days on safari were amazing. Each safari was very different, we managed to see the Big Five.

The two teenagers aged 13 and 16 had a brilliant time. The accommodation had an authentic African feel. The beds were comfortable and the lodges were kept very clean. One night there was a power cut and the candle lit meal was a wonderfully memorable experience.

The teenagers managed to stroke a cheetah!!!

I would highly recommend the Viva Safari company they were excellent.

I had a wonderful experience from the first moment Claudette welcomed us until we left. Accommodation was fine as was the food. Could not ask for nor expect more unless going 5 star. LOL Everything I required from safari to food and bed was catered for. Thanks Viva

Everything was wonderful! It was the perfect start to our adventure honeymoon. The food, accommodations and tour guides were all amazing!

It was my first time doing a safari, and by myself!! I was a little bit nervous at the begging about the whole trip.. but everything was better than what I expected! They picked me up on time from the airport and from that moment I started to meet people, and we went in different rides, bush walks, dinners !!!! The guides are the best thing of this trip definitely !!! Thanks to Shannon, Bernard, and Janneman specially for being so helpful, for giving us so much knowledge and for being so nice!!! I’m hoping to come again soon !! I recommend this trip 100 percent, I think it’s a life time experience to see all the animals in the wild...

The place, the nature, the beautiful animals, most of the guides were very good, the chef at Katekani was very good. The time planning of the activities was always precise and well organized.

I am a world traveler and being on safari was absolutely amazing. Viva safaris were very accommodating to us and their tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. One of the most breathtaking experiences was the dinner we had in the middle of the woods. It was so gorgeous to be having delicious foods while gazing at the stars surrounded by animals in the wild. Highly recommended

We had a great experience ! Our guide were full of information ,and made the trip excellent we got to see the Big Five , The return back to Marc's was always greeted with such positive words and Colette is so amazing especially when we were load sharing power after the cyclone. Dining by candle light just set the mood after a fun day out with the wind in our hair cameras in had and binoculars around our neck.

Viva safari c’est l’assurance d’un Safari réussi ! L’organisation est très bien faite et tout s’est deroulé a merveille. Le pickup et le drop off dans Joburg ont été parfaits, la route est longue mais il a de nombreux stops pour des cafés, des pauses toilettes et les déjeuners. Nous avons rencontré beaucoup de personnes et c’etait très sympa à chaque fois. Les chauffeurs conduisent très bien ! Arrivée sur place nous sommes parties faire un sunset drive et un barbecue dans le bush: incroyable (girafes, éléphants, léopard !!!!) merci Shanon notre super guide puis retour à notre lodge de très bonne qualité (les 3 lodges sont très bien mais ont des standings differents: vous pourrez donc choisir en fonction de vos goûts !) Le deuxième jour, une journée à Kruger vraiment exceptionnelle, les deux guides que nous avons eu ont étaient supers. Toutes les personnes qui travaillent pour Viva safaris sont très aidantes et souriantes !! La qualité des repas est vraiment irréprochable (si vous êtes végétariens ou vegans ils s’occupent de tout!)

En conclusion, je recommande Viva safari à 100% !
