Meet the instructors

Founder and Director Eugen was born and raised in a small village near Ngorongoro. Many tourists visited the area and it was one of these tourists that changed his world. Eugen’s work ethic and trustworthy nature led this tourist to set up a “legacy” providing for his higher education including his university degree and eventually his company “Legacy Exchange Outfitters”.

Eugen’s love of nature and a deep appreciation for the many tourists, is the hallmark of what he has created. He knows personally the positive impact travel can have on a community or even just one individual. To honor the legacy that began with him, Eugen emphasizes community interaction and personal culture “Exchange” with every safari.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha - Champagne welcome and garden retreat

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Legendary Lodge, an elegant retreat set among lush gardens on a working coffee estate. Enjoy a chilled bottle of champagne and a bouquet of fresh flowers awaiting you in your private cottage. Spend the afternoon relaxing on your veranda, exploring the serene grounds, or enjoying a rejuvenating massage.
