AA Amboseli Lodge is built in a three-tier architectural design, is strategically located two kilometers from Amboseli National Park's main gate (Kimana Gate), and conveniently within the Emali-Loitoktok tarmac road. It commands a panoramic view of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain. With a total of 98 rooms, the lodge is intimate and friendly with many personal touches.
Programme
Join this three-day safari to a park where you'll find the giants of the land, elephants! Amboseli is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty, as well as the landscape that is dominated by the towering Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Board SGR Train leaving Nairobi at 8:20 a.m. and alight at Emali station where the driver guide will be waiting for you. Proceed to drive to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge for check-in and have time for lunch.
Check-in at AA Lodge and have lunch with a short rest. Join the afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, etc. with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Have your dinner and overnight at AA Lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli Full Day
Have an early morning game drive and later return back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, have a full day spent in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo, etc. with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Later, return to AA lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive and later, return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. When you arrive, you will be dropped off to your hotel or the airport.
Lieu
AA Lodge is located at Amboseli National Park, at the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It offers the best views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and is only five kilometers from the Amboseli Kimana Gate. The proposed route by road is the Nairobi-Emali-Loitokitok tarmac road.
Amboseli National Park
Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah, and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
