Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Kigali City
Your multilingual local tour guide will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the hotel. A short briefing about the tour will be given. Please inform Motorbiking Rwanda Tours about your arrival time. If you arrive in the morning, an activity around the city can be organized. Overnight in Kigali City.
Day 2: Departure to Lake Kivu in Gisenyi
- Explore the twin lakes: Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo and the remote villages of north-west Rwanda
- Boat cruise in Lake Kivu to the gas plant in Kivu for the best view of Nyiragongo Volcano, Goma City of DRC and Gisenyi City
- Overnight at Lake Kivu shorees
Day 3: Riding the Adventure Congo Nile Trail
- Ride the Famous Congo Nile Trail
- Observe locals' daily life and tea plantation and Gishwati Natural Forest
- Stop over at Cyimbiri Waterfall
- Boat cruising to Monkey Island and Napoleon Island
- Overnight at Lake Kivu Shore in Kibuye
Day 4: Riding to Explore Nyungwe Forest National Park
- Explore the oldest African conserved tropical rainforest
- The most breathtaking tea plantations in the world
- Overnight in Butare
Day 5: Departure to Akagera National Park
- Explore the remote villages of south-East part of Rwanda
- Stop over at King Palace Museum in Nyanza and Visit the royal caws
- Explore the south wetland of Rwanda
- Overnight Akagera National Park
Day 6: Safari game drive in Akagera National Park - 4x4 safari car
See the African Big Five, and many other different animal, lakes, birds, Lake Ihema (the biggest lake in the park). The lake is also a home of hippos and crocodiles and 550 bird spices including vulnerable and rare birds such as: shoebill, papyrus gonolek, kingfisher, and more. Overnight in Akagera National Park.
Day 7: Riding to Kigali City
- Visiting Kimironko local market
- Kigali Genocide Memorial Site
- End of the tour - Transfer to Kigali International Airport
