You will stay at a mid-range lodge bordering Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Programme
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your tour guide / driver shall pick you from the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early morning at 7 a.m. and set off for a long drive southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with en route stopover at the equator for experimentation and photography and lunch break in Mbarara. You will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park reaching early in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa experience
Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will receive some briefing on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for your adventure. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable. Return to the accommodation, have lunch, and transfer for the Batwa experience.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe for your flight
After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Cross the equator and have time to take photos at the equator. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. You will then drive to Kampala or Entebbe airport to catch your flights back home.
