Programme
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja
Your guide will pick you up at Entebbe International Airport (EBB) and take you to the hotel in Jinja to relax after the flight.

Day 2: Boat cruise and horseback riding on the source of the Nile
After breakfast, you will set off for the first adventure of this safari, a boat cruise on the Nile. You have to be prepared for a day of great experiences with speed and excitement. When the experience is over, your guide will pick you and take you to the hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Kapchorwa
After having an early breakfast, your guide / driver will transfer you to Kapichorwa where you will have a long day in a car passing through the windows and viewing the beautiful landscapes. You will have a stopover to have lunch and then continue to the lodge in the evening.

Day 4: Hike on Sipi Falls and transfer to Kitgum
After a morning breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the starting point of hiking Sipi Falls where you will be marveling at the different attractions and experiencing the hike up to the ancient cave which is known to be the first royal family of the Sabines’ hence the hike will take about three hours. Then, you will get back to the lodge for lunch.

Day 5: Transfer to Kitgum
You will meet your guide and start your Kidepo safari. You have a long day in the car ahead of you and can enjoy the Ugandan landscape by the windows.

Day 6: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, you make the last part of the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. This park is known as one of the last untouched wildernesses in Africa. You will reach the park in time for a game drive and then get to the lodge for lunch. After some relaxation, you will head out for an evening game drive and have the chance of seeing giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions, and leopards.

Day 7: A day at Kidepo Valley National Park
You shall get up early to enjoy a morning game drive in the area of the Kanangorok Hot Springs. If you are lucky, you can see ostriches in this area. After lunch, it is time for a cultural experience visiting a Karamojong village. See how the locals live and learn about their culture. *Accommodation: Apoka Hostel Bandas
Day 8: Transfer back to Gulu
This will be an interesting day in the car as you are traveling through remote parts of Uganda. You will see villages and natural surroundings by the window. You will spend the night in Gulu, Uganda's second-biggest town.

Day 9: To Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will set off for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. You will arrive at the national park around lunchtime. When you have finished your lunch, it is time to experience the top of the falls. It is an amazing feeling to stand there enjoying the view and hearing the water roar. You will have a relaxed evening at the lodge.

Day 10: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
Get up early in the morning to meet the animals of the savanna. During this morning game drive, you can see giraffes, elephants, lions, and more. In the afternoon it is time for a boat cruise on the mighty Nile spotting for example hippos, crocodiles, and birds on the shores. *Accommodation: Murchison River lodge.
Day 11: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be prepared for a long day in the car and it is made easier by making a stop in a village to stretch your legs, taking a look at a tea plantation, and studying the Ugandan countryside passing by the window.

Day 12: Chimps trekking day
You will be woken up by the sounds of the jungle and get ready for your chimps trekking experience. Your guide takes you to the starting point and you set off into the beautiful jungle to see the chimpanzees. After the chimps trekking, your guide meets you and takes you to the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 13: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
You shall wake up early in the morning for a game drive in the Kasenyi part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you have the chance of seeing lions, elephants, buffaloes, an abundance of birds, and more. After lunch, your guide will take you on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. This two-hour boat ride is a great highlight where you can see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and warthogs along the shores of the channel.

Day 14: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi
You will head off to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. The drive there goes along an adventurous road and you have the chance of seeing baboons and elephants along the way. In Ishasha, you’ll find topis, buffaloes, and search for the tree-climbing lions. The lions in this area are famous for climbing up great fig trees to take a rest. After finishing your game drive, the journey goes on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the changing landscape as the car slowly climbs up towards the misty mountains of the gorillas. *Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp
Day 15: Gorilla trekking day
You have reached a highlight of this discover Uganda safari, the gorilla trekking day. Your guide will take you to the starting point of the gorilla trekking in the morning and you will set off for your adventure. The trek takes you through the jungle up to the point where the gorillas are and you get to spend one hour with them. When you are back from the gorilla trekking, your guide will take you to the stunningly beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 16: Relax by Lake Bunyonyi
This is a free day by Lake Bunyonyi. Here, you can rent a canoe to explore the islands, take a swim (the lake is free of hippos, crocodiles, and bilharzia), go for a hike or just relax with a book. *Accommodation: Birdnest Lodge
Day 17: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will start off with your guide towards Lake Mburo National Park. A landscape of rolling green hills will pass by the windows before you reach the town of Mbarara for lunch and then continue to the lodge in Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 18: Walking safari and game-drive
You’ll start the day early with a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. You will get the experience of being one with nature as you see the animals close by during the walk. You shall have breakfast at the lodge and relax a little bit before lunch. After lunch in the afternoon, it is time for your game drive in the park where you can see impalas and zebras. You shall get back to the lodge to enjoy your last evening in Uganda's national parks on this Discover Uganda safari.

Day 19: Transfer to Kampala
You will have a relaxed breakfast and then start the journey to Kampala. You will make a stopover along the way for lunch at the Equator and take a chance to stand with one foot on either side on the southern and northern hemispheres. After the last part of the drive to Kampala, your guide will take you to the hotel for a relaxed afternoon / evening.

Day 20: City tour and flight
Today, you will go for a city tour of Kampala before heading to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) for your flight. The city tour can be adapted to your interests in crafts shopping, cultural sites, or community tourism. The length of the city tour depends on your flight time and your guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight back home.
