Programme
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
- Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha in the morning.
- Drive to Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 2.5 hours).
- Enjoy a thrilling game drive, with chances to spot elephants, hippos, countless birds, and the famous tree-climbing lions.
- Picnic lunch inside the park. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near Lake Manyara or in Karatu.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
- Breakfast at the lodge.
- Depart for Serengeti via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.
- Enjoy a game drive en route to your camp in the Serengeti, watching for wildlife along the way.
- Dinner and overnight in Serengeti National Park.
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti
- Early morning and afternoon game drives for the best chance to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and the great wildebeest herds. Optional activities: visit a Maasai village or experience a hot air balloon safari over the plains (additional cost).
- Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- Morning game drive while leaving the Serengeti.
- Picnic lunch along the route.
- Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu by afternoon. Dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park.
- Early breakfast at the lodge.
- Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Expect to see rhinos, lions, zebras, hippos, and more in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picnic lunch inside the crater. Afternoon drive to Tarangire National Park.
- Dinner and overnight at a lodge or camp near Tarangire.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park – Arusha
- Morning game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees.
- Lunch before returning to Arusha. Drop-off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Beginning in Arusha, the journey explores the lush forests and bird-filled shores of Lake Manyara National Park, the vast open plains of the legendary Serengeti, the dramatic volcanic basin of the Ngorongoro Crater, and the baobab-studded savannahs of Tarangire National Park—each offering unique ecosystems and exceptional game viewing experiences.
