"Yala Safaris took us on a whirlwind adventure across Uganda. We loved rafting in Jinja and then took a private plane to Queen Elizabeth national park and saw lions sleeping in the trees. Then we saw a family of 15 gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which was an experience of a lifetime! Finally we got to relax on the beautiful lake bunyonyi. The Yala Safari team were incredible at every point. Our guide Michael was knowledgeable, funny, kind and flexible to any request. I have been lucky to do safaris in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa, however this was certainly my favorite! Thanks again!"

"We planned a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Lake Bunyonyi, over the course of 6 days. We chose exactly how long we spent in each place and were ensured of the lowest price around (Yala Safaris will beat any genuine quote you receive!). "

"Our driver Godwin was with us the whole time, and was always enthusiastic, friendly and making sure we were having the kind of trip we expected. He made many recommendations throughout our stay and our trip ended up being quite different in terms of activities than we'd originally planned, due to the fact that we found better alternatives and Godwin was always able to arrange these last minute changes of plan. I really couldn't recommend highly enough!!"

"Yala Safaris took us for a 2 week trip to see the highlights of Uganda. We went to Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls and Jinja. It was amazing!"

"Our guide Godwin was extremely knowledgable about all of the areas we visited and with his connections got us an amazing deal price wise. As this company is not as well known it will give you much better prices than the larger tour operators. "

"I went to the Murchison Falls Nature Park with Yala Safaris. Godwin is very knowledgeable and relaxed person and it was fun to travel with him. I got to see the Big 5 during the three game drives we did. Godwin tried hard to make it happen and we left to the park early in the last morning to catch the last one, the leopard. And we did see it, although only a quite short glimpse at a distance."

"The safari included also a boat trip to the Murchison Falls. I found the trip a bit too long (maybe 3 hours), as there was only a limited selection of dirfferent animals, although plenty of them. Mostly we saw hippos and water buffaloes + some crocodiles."

"On the way back I got extra adventure as the driver decided to take a shortcut on a highway that is still under construction and closed for traffic. It turned out that the highway ended in the middle of nowhere and we had to find our way back to civilization in complete darkness on very small roads. Also the driver got lost on the backroads in Kampala woods but in overall the driver was very reliable in his driving. (It seems quite common in Kampala, that drivers try to find their shortcuts in the nerve-wrecking traffic jams, so the experience was not the first one to me and not a big minus to the driver)"

"I went on Safari with Yala Safaris and surely their service was so good as they picked me up at the airport to the Hotel. I had a guided tour of Kampala City. We then embarked on a 3 day Safari to the Murchison Falls National Park and it was so nice. We were guided to different animal corners and must admit it was the best holiday I could spend."

"We gave the manager a budget and said we wanted two days, we got more thank expected and real value for the money. Everywhere we got there were nice, polite and service minded people. We really got the feeling that we came as a guest and left as a friend. We could notice that they were really concerning for our needs and was not bothered if we needed anything. One of the guides got sick but he still had the same good attitude and we didn't notice until we separated. I'm looking forward to visit them next time again!"

"It was a dream come true to go on safari and using Yala made it that much better. The WiFi on the vehicles made it easy to contact my friends in the UK and we were able to sit on the vehicles whilst on the game drives. Yala also sorted out the most incredible hike up Murchison Falls. It was the most amazing and surreal experience and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Definitely would recommend :)"

"After reading the first review of Yala Safaris I thought I wouldn't enjoy my trip, but I was met with an extremely pleasant surprise. I traveled to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and saw the most beautiful group of wild elephants. The timing of our guides was perfect, the Yala drivers knew when to drive and where to drive. I stayed at the Lake Nkuruba Reserve which was simply breathtaking. Waking up to views of such beauty allowed for an wonderful experience in Uganda. Yala Safaris made perfect choices, the guides were polite and so welcoming, and really knew there stuff! It was great to travel with experts in Ugandan wildlife and national parks. Wifi was provided onboard the vehicles throughout so I was able to share the experience with my family back home. 10 out of 10 for Yala Safaris!"

"We book Yala Tours for a six day all inclusive trip in Uganda. Although we had an amazing guide but the activities and what was in the Itinerary was inconsistent. Despite what we paid, accommodations were terrible and there was no food choice. We simply had to stay in dismal places and deal with one main course meal almost everyday. "

"I do not recommend this company to anyone."

The whole experience was very pleasant and our guides were happy to adjust the itinerary according to our needs. Overall, I can definitely recommend Yala for first-timers and seasoned Safari goers alike!"
