Yak and Yeti Hotel (Kathmandu)

A new wing of an additional 150 rooms was built in harmony with the architectural features of the old palace, Lal Durbar, bringing the room total to 270. Barahi Lodge (Chitwan)

The hotel is at a distance of one kilometer from Pokhara Airport (PKR) and the Pokhara Bus Stand. Similarly, the famous Davi's Falls is just five kilometers away. Sarangkot from where paragliders take off to the sky is 15 kilometers away. The hotel is therefore ideally located in the heart of Pokhara valley, surrounded by awe-inspiring views at every corner.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, Royal Suite Hotel is situated in Kathmandu. This property is set a short distance from attractions such as Hanuman Dhoka. The on-site restaurant serves British cuisine. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kettle, a shower, free toiletries, and a desk. Day 1: Kathmandu

You will arrive in Kathmandu. You will meet with Yala Adventure and be transferred to a hotel by an English speaking escort. You will overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu

You will begin the day with a visit to the world heritage sites (recognized by UNESCO) of Kathmandu valley. During the day, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swaymbhunath which are also known as the monkey temple. During the afternoon, you will visit Boudhanath stupa (one of the largest in Asia) followed by the Hindu holiest temple of Pashupatinath. You will overnight in the hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Chitwan

You will drive approximately 185 kilometers south of Kathmandu to Chitwan. Chitwan National Park is spreading of an area over 932 kilometers square and recognized as a heritage site by UNESCO listed as protected reserve. It is also one of the best wildlife-viewing national parks in Asia. Chitwan National Park is home of famous royal Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinos, and many other animals and up to over 500 species of birds. A variety of programs includes boat ride, jungle walks, visit to park headquarter, local cultural dance, etc. is available. You will overnight in a resort.

Day 4: Chitwan

You will have a full day of jungle excursions. You will overnight in a resort.

Day 5: Chitwan - Pokhara

You will drive 170 kilometers northwest to Pokhara. Pokhara, another busy tourist city next to Kathmandu, is also known as city of lakes with the spectacular landscape, scenery, with full of adventure activities (zip liner, ultra flight, bungee jumping, pony ride, gliding, etc.). Pokhara is also a laidback town with its own charm with beautiful snowcapped mountain visible in about 18 kilometers aerial distance. You will have afternoon leisure walk along the lakeside by the Phewa Lake.

Day 6: Sarangkot

You will have early morning sunrise view over the mountain from Sarangkot. During the day, it is free for optional adventure enthusiasts. While in the afternoon, you will have a chance to sightseeing tour of Davi's Falls and Tibetan refugee camp with an experience of the local bazaar. You will overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Sarangkot - Kathmandu

You will drive 200 kilometers to Kathmandu. You will have evening farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant with live cultural program. You will overnight in hotel.

Day 8: Kathmandu

You will have leisure shopping etc. until the time of departure.

Nepal is a little larger than the North Carolina state of America.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yala Adventure will pick you up from the airport

Some of the major international airlines operating scheduled services to Nepal are Nepal Airlines, Biman Banladesh, China South West Airlines, Druk Air, Gulf Air, Indian Air Lines, Thai Airways, Qatar Air, Pakistan Air, Air Sahara, Jet Airways, Dragon Air, Hongkong Express, and Orient Thai Airlines. By air, you will arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) located in the heart of Kathmandu City.

Arrival by bus

There are several entry points by land route mainly from Nepal / Indian borders: Kakarvita, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalganj, Dhangadhi, and Mahendranagar. Scheduled public, as well as tourist buses, run to and from Kathmandu. Traveling by bus is recommended if you can cope with 10 to 12 hours of a long drive in return for fascinating mountainous views and snail tail roads that meet above the clouds.
