Yacumama Lodge was designed with the guest's experience in mind with a focus upon the romantic and jungle appearance, which translates into each individual or couple having a separate and secluded personal cabin with ample space to relax, complete with sitting areas and a comfortable bed with fresh sheets, pillows, and towels.

Luxury suites are available, which are spacious and offer a well lit and spotless private bath with flush toilet, sink, and shower, sitting area with table, chairs and recliner, extra large bed with plush mattress, floor rugs, electric light and fan, maid service, and room service.

Yacumama Lodge is unique in both design and operation, with a special emphasis placed upon service, comfort, privacy, and low environmental impact. The resulting atmosphere at the lodge is one of casual authenticity, as warm and intimate as your own living room, yet large enough to offer ample space for multiple activities, along with a bar and separate hammock room overlooking the river.

The lodge is located in the heart of the Yarapa River, therefore, access to civilization is very scarce, but this impasse does not have to affect the excursions and the fun. That's why they have incorporated a generator to provide the energy to charge daily cameras, drones, phones in the lodge so that the guests can continue enjoying photographing the wildlife.

Mother nature has many surprises, and therefore, there will always be dirty clothes after each expedition. For the comfort of the guests, the lodge has laundry staff to take care of this matter.

Although Yacumama Lodge offers adventure excursions, they have the opportunity to be close to cell phone connections to improve the quality of their services in case their guests wish to be in contact with their families while enjoying their excursions on the Yarapa River.

The lodge offers a greater variety of activities and 1,700 hectares of land for hiking, with over 50 miles of trails through a variety of ecosystems.

Note: On the first night, you will be accommodated in Iquitos. When you visit the national reserve of Pacaya-Samiria, you will stay in tents. There, you will have your bird watching by boat during your stay. The reason is that, inside the reserve, the government does not allow any lodges because it is a protected area. Therefore, on the days you go bird watching in Pacaya-Samiria, you will be camping out, for the entire day or overnight.
