Upon return at around 10 a.m., you will be treated to a filling brunch followed by a moment of relaxation and peace on the Delta. Once you have had a good rest, you will head out for a 3-hour mokoro trip arriving back in camp just before sunset. Some guests have meditated along the cruise, some have fallen asleep, and some have been perplexed about the entire experience. Upon arrival, you will be treated to a hot shower in the privacy of your en-suite tent and proceed to enjoy your campfire dinner.
Day 5: Hello Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Rise and shine to enjoy a light breakfast before you head out to Central Kalahari Game Reserve to set camp in the Deception Valley. These include springbok and gemsbok, as well as wildebeest, hartebeest, eland and giraffe. At other times of the year, when the animals are more sparsely distributed, the experience of traveling through truly untouched wilderness, of seemingly unending dimensions, is amazing.
