We contacted Ernest to arrange a safari experience for us, as he was one of the handlers for the Serengeti marathon, which my girlfriend was going to run. After the marathon got canceled, Ernest arranged alternatives for us, instead visiting the Lake Natron area in northern Tanzania before starting the safari experience in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tangarire.

Ernest and team handled everything perfectly. Our guide (Danford, aka Dannyboy) was awesome, and had an amazing eye, seeing things so far off in the distance, it was like he had a bionic eye. I still don't know how he saw that black rhino from half a mile away! He was super knowledgeable about everything we were seeing, and was just super fun to be hanging out with.

The cook was hilarious and super fun as well, and made some amazing meals for us. He went above and beyond, getting up super early to ensure there was coffee and tea ready before we got up in the mornings. My only "complaint" is there was way too much food. It was like they thought we had bottomless pits for stomachs, and could just keep eating. We ended up having to just leave food on the table, as we just couldn't go through it all.

We were on a budget tour, so camping was it (in public campgrounds in the national parks), and Ernest and company supplied everything we needed for that (tent, mats, blankets, pillows, etc.)

From the start of our conversations, planning was smooth, comprehensive and adapted to our curiosities and needs. Ernest gave us all the necessary information and was happy to answer even our most absurd questions, such as "how far from the tent is the bathroom".

Then, the safari started and the questions continued. His knowledge of the animals, plants, landscapes, weather seasons, politics is impressive, and his willingness to tell us stories about it all was fantastic. He is also present, patient and his love for what he does is obvious.

We visited the Tarangire park and it's baobab trees, wildebeests crossing the river Mara on the north Serengeti, we went to visit the Hadzabe people in lake Eyasi, the beautiful Ngorogoro crater, the dawn of humanity at Olduvai gorge, and saw lots and lots of animals in various landscapes along the way.

Unforgettable experience.

In addition, Ernest, the owner of worldwide safari, is from Tanzania, as opposed to so many other safari operators that are foreigners.

We originally had contacted Ernest at Worldwide Safaris about running the Serengeti Marathon in November 2016. However, we switched plans and instead did a 1-day mountain bike safari in the Maasai lands, then a 7-day climb of Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route, and then a 1-day safari to Tarangire park.

Planning was excellent and Ernest came up with an itinerary that matched our needs perfectly. Our guides were also very good. We had some rain on the mountain at lower elevations, but managed OK. The route was beautiful and not crowded. Our climb of Kilimanjaro was successful and we then saw pretty much every type of wildlife that we could hope for in Tarangire park.

The trip was not cheap. Our crew and facilities on Kilimanjaro were actually more than we needed and we could have been happy with less. There were some unexpected expenses, especially with the scale of gratuity. However, after conversations with other travelers, it appears that we still got decent value for our money. Given the chance, I would choose this operator again, maybe just with a little bit less support on the mountain.

My significant other and I did a 5 day safari thru Worldwide Safari.

The booking process was very professional. Ernest guided & accommodated our various requests and the price was fair. He was also upfront about the potential VAT that was proposed and approved before my trip began. I was even able to pay with my credit card which gave me peace of mind.

Danford (Dannyboy) was a great guide. He was knowledgeable about the animals and the locations and went the extra step of fulfilling any request that we made. Ernest & Dannyboy even helped me with a surprise celebration for my girlfriend's birthday.

Thanks for the great experience. I will definitely recommend you to my friends.
