Accommodation
You will be accommodated in budget-friendly tents.
Camping information
Accommodation is mostly in modern, large two-man tents with a sewn-in ground sheet; with a comfortable foam mattress spread on the ground sheet. Tents, tables, chairs, and mats are provided. Sleeping bags, blankets, or sheets and towels are not provided (clients bring their own sleeping bags).
Program
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
- 08:30 After breakfast; depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a game drive
- 13:00 Stop at the picnic site for lunch
- 14:00 Continue for evening game drive, return in the evening for dinner and overnight at a campsite
- Meals: Lunch, dinner
- Accommodation: Twiga Campsite / similar
Day 2: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park
- After breakfast at 08:00, drive from Manyara with your packed lunch and game drive en route to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- After lunch, proceed with your game drive en route towards Seronera Campsite
- Dinner and overnight at campsite
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Accommodation: Seronera Campsite
Day 3: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation
- On this day, you will wake up early in the morning for a morning game drive in Serengeti, then back for breakfast at the camp.
- After breakfast, pack your equipment and with your packed lunch drive and game en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is your choice whether you pass by Olduvai Gorge, a historical site where the early men lived, and you can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are interested in the real African life tradition and culture (for extra costs)
- After your lunch en route, head to the crater rim for your dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite.
- Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
- Accommodation: Simba Campsite
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
- After breakfast, descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crate is rich with wildlife, each species has its own territory.
- Your packed lunch will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai Forest or Hippo Pool.
- Late afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha town for your onward arrangement.
