we are happy with our trip.
Everything was easy from the time we booked til the day we went on the safari.
We booked at the website, and everytime I had a question I got answers really quick here on the website.
We were nervous before when we had to pay in advance but everything went as planed.
Our guide Daniel and the manager Ahmad were at our hotel in good time. So we and our guide Daniel left at 7:30 and then we had a looooong drive to mikumipark. It took 7 hours so it was long but we knew that before so it was ok. It was only us two and Daniel in the jeep so it was really nice it was just us.
After a couple of hours we stoped for lunch that Daniel brought with him. We also got water. Where we stoped we could buy soft drinks , and so on it was like a supermarket.
And then after some More hours we arrived to mikumipark. We drove around there for a couple of hours and saw many different animals.
Our guide Daniel was really good, and could tell us alot of every animal we saw and could answer all of our questions. And he spoke really god english.
He also wanted us to have the best trip and really tried to look for all animals. He went to places there he knew that lions usally are and so on.
The room where we spent the night was really cosy, and nice. The food at the place where we stayed was also good.
Animals we saw was elephants, giraffs, lions, monekys, zebras, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles , and so on.

We had a most excellent safari! Rajab was an amazing and knowledgeable safari guide...we can't thank him enough for making the trip so special for what we hoped to see and for telling us things we did not know. He was so professional and personable too, making the experience very enjoyable. Ahmed made the transaction so easy and accommodated our last minute change requests to extend the journey. Booking it was very easy and I felt confident about it.
But seriously, Mikumi is a WONDERFUL site to see animals...and the Mikumi Wildlife Camp is an overnight setting that matched my dreams of being in Africa, with the ability to see animals while eating or sipping a refreshment...all the while in the company of genuine people who live there, from the Masai guides who watch over the place, to the wonderful staff, including Ali!, who provide for guests and make them feel so welcome. The food and accommodations were great. I cannot say enough good about this experience. And I have traveled E. Africa before (tho many years ago). This was by far the most genuine experience I have had. And animals galore...from the usual lions, giraffes, elephants to the unusual, like an eagle owl, a huge lizard scaling a tree, and beautiful birds whose names I have forgotten. Best was the ability to see the behavior of all, aptly guided by Rajab, who gave us insights, plus time to observe what was happening.
All in all, we are so very thankful for this experience!!

"Great tour with Ibra"
Ibra was a very good guide and driver. He explained us a lot of things about wildlife, enabling us to see lions, elephants, hippos, kudu, zebras, warthogs, crocodiles...
We stayed at Africa Safari Camp Selous Hotel wich was a beautiful place...with a surprise...an elephant coming everynight to steal some food :)
