This tour includes 10 nights accommodation in twin or double sharing basis room including three nights in deluxe accommodation in Kathmandu, two nights in deluxe accommodation in Chitwan, and the rest nights will be spent en-route in trekking lodge accommodation twin or double sharing basis.


Upon arriving, you will have a sightseeing day to explore the exotic city of Kathmandu before flying into the remote mountain town of Lukla where you will begin the teahouse Everest view trek into the Khumbu region, land of Sherpas. Situated at an elevation of 2800 meters, the views of the Himalayan Mountains from Lukla on a clear day are awe-inspiring. Once there, you will follow the legendary Everest Base Camp Trek route that journeys through Sherpa villages, across high mountain passes, and through remote valleys.

En route, you pass through so many Buddhist Prayers Walls, Manis, Chortens, Stupas, Buddhist monasteries, and begin to appreciate the unique mountain culture found in the Himalayan foothills. The views become more brilliant as you venture up the Dudh Kosi River to Namche Bazaar, the main gateway to the Everest region treks at 3400 meters.

You will spend a night next to the Thyangboche monastery (3870 meters), from where you will observe spectacular views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kwande Peak, and many other small peaks. After completion of Everest View trek, you will drive to Chitwan to enjoy wildlife in the Chitwan National Park, one of the finest wildlife reserves in Asia, located in the plains of Nepal ‘Terai’. The park with a total area of 932 kilometers and is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s the home to many animals, birds, and plant species that includes one horn rhino, different kinds of deer, sloth bears, leopards, tigers, crocodiles, monkeys, as well as many different species of butterflies, insects and over 450 sorts of colorful and endangered birds and an incredible variety of other fauna and flora.

A visit to Chitwan is a must for any wildlife affectionate and even for the leisurely travelers who wish to relax in the tranquility of sub-tropical jungle and observe wildlife or the local culture, tradition, and the way of life in Terai. Everest view trek itinerary will be five to seven days depending on your level of physical fitness and the time you have. The original version itinerary has no extra day at Namche while trekking up but you need it if you are a beginner. On that day, you will trek to Everest View Hotel and retrace back to Namche after the beautiful day hike that will require one more day in the standard itinerary.

Day 1: Join Kathmandu (1300 meters)

Wilderness Excursion has included your travel time in the itinerary. On day one, you will depart from your homeland flying to Nepal will be an amazing experience with Nepal's long Himalayan Panorama from the pane if you have right side window seat. Wilderness Excursion representative will welcome you to the airport and transfer to your selected hotel in Kathmandu. A short briefing about your trip and a welcome drink will be held. Overnight in Samsara Resort at Thamel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Tour with professional culture tour guide

Wilderness Excursion's guide meets you at the hotel at around 9:30 a.m. On this day, you will have a beautiful cultural tour through one the oldest Royal palaces, temples, Buddhist monasteries including Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square with its numerous temples and monuments. The hosts will prepare your permits and other necessary documentation on this day. Overnight in Samsara Resort at Thamel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly to Lukla and hike to Phakding (2610 meters, about 3 hours)

You will fly on a twin-engine Otter to the Himalayan foothills where you begin the trek into the Khumbu region. The sights from the plane are amazing, providing dramatic views of terraced hills and the distant Himalayan giants. After landing in the village of Lukla (2800 meters), you will meet the rest of the staff and porters and trek for about three hours to Phakding. Overnight in a lodge at Phakding.

Day 4: Trek to Namche (3440 meters, 4-5 hours walk)

You continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views of Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Khumbu region. On this night, you will stay in Hotel Namche.

Day 5: Trek to Tengboche (3870 meters, hiking time: 5-6 hours)

The trek continues along the rushing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains. You will spend the night next to the Tengboche monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. Inside the monastery are incredibly ornate wall hangings, a 20-foot sculpture of Buddha, and the musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. The monastery opens at 4 p.m. every day, you will see the Lama perform a ceremony and hear the mystical chanting and music. Overnight in a lodge at Tengboche.

Day 6: Trek back to Namche (3440 meters, hiking time: 4-5 hours)

On this day, you will trek back along the Dudh Kosi River through a magnificent rhododendron forest and past brilliant waterfalls. Shortly before reaching Namche, the trek takes you through a pine forest, where musk deer often graze in the early morning. Arriving in town, you may see lowland porters, highland Sherpas. Overnight in a lodge at Namche.

Day 7: Trek to Lukla (2800 meters, 7-8 hours walk)

This is another long day and can be one of the hardest as your body is tired after the trek. You start the day going back down Namche Hill and then the long stretch back to Lukla. You will pass Phakding before starting the last uphill section into Lukla where we will sleep for one more night. Today’s trek can take seven to eight hours, 21 kilometers / 13 miles. Overnight in a lodge in Lukla.

Day 8: Fly back to Kathmandu

After a hot breakfast at Lukla, fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla at around 8:30 a.m. It is a picturesque flight of 35 minutes. If the weather is clear, the morning flight back to Kathmandu will be a scenic and smooth farewell to the mountains. You will visit Pashupatinath temples, the most famous and Hindu sacred site in Kathmandu and the Boudhanath Stupa, the place of peace and salvation. Overnight in Samsara Resort at Thamel in Kathmandu.

Day 9: Drive to Chitwan and Jungle Safari program

On this day, you will take an early morning breakfast and drive to Chitwan located 175 kilometers from Kathmandu. You will descend down along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking in to the hotel, there will be a briefing on the activities you will be engaged in during your stay in Chitwan. You then walk on the banks of the Rapti River to enjoy the sunset in the sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner along with a brief cultural program showcasing the tribal dances unique to the Chitwan region of Nepal. Overnight in Hotel Seven Star.

Day 10: Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park

Wake-up call at 6 a.m., followed by breakfast and 8 a.m., canoeing, bird watching, and visit Elephant Breeding Center (two to four hours). At 12 p.m., you will have lunch and at 2:30 p.m., you will enjoy a jungle walk to see wildlife such one-horned rhinos, deer, tiger, bear, monkeys. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The timetable is changeable as per season and daylight time and client’s interests. You will be briefed in the evening for programs and tour day plan. Overnight in Hotel Seven Star.

Day 11: Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu

Early in the morning, you will spend your time bird-watching as Chitwan National Park, home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds. You then have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. You will arrive there by evening and enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate a successful end of your trip in Nepal. Overnight in Samsara Resort.

This trekking and safari tour takes place in several locations in Nepal. During the safari, you will visit Kathmandu, Chitwan, Lukla, Phakding, Sagarmatha National Park, Tengboche, Namche, and Chitwan National Park.

Chitwan National Park Chitwan National Park is a conserved area in the Terai Lowlands of south-central Nepal, known for its biodiversity listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its dense forests and grassy plains are home to rare mammals like one-horned rhinos and Bengal tigers.

The park shelters numerous bird species, including the giant hornbill. Dugout canoes traverse the northern Rapti River, home to crocodiles. Inside the park is Balmiki Ashram, a Hindu pilgrimage site.


You will be provided all the breakfast during the tour and safari at the hotels, as well as seven lunches and seven dinners during the safari and hiking in Everest.
