Amazing trip, the 2nd time we have taken this trip with Wild Wings and they did not disappoint. Nature is not predictable so there are never guarantees to see everything but Simon worked really hard to give us the best chance to see the Big 5 which we did with a Leopard sighting on the final morning. Simon is a great guide and used his knowledge to bring to life all creatures great and small including the grasses and plants. If you want to use a tour company you can trust you need not look any further. We are already looking at our next trip.

We were for a four-day safari. Arrangements made well by Clare. And our guide Frank was fantastic. He knows good about the animals and tried his best to show us the big five. In our last minutes of safari we have seen leopard that is very difficult to see during four days. He did everything to find leopard and lions. Also he is a nice man with very special and attractive personality. We thank him for his efforts. All the arrangement and everything was good. I recommend this agency.
My husband and I travelled with Wild Wings Safaris on 26-29 August to Kruger National Park, and we're lucky enough to have Simon as our guide for the experience. As a travel agent who has worked with a multitude of vendors over the course of my career and an avid traveller myself, I have to say that Wild Wings and Simon in particular absolutely blew us away. Simon himself is one of the most knowledgeable, patient and passionate guides I've ever encountered, plus he's a fantastic cook (and was able to deal with some of my annoying food allergy issues without any problems) and pretty hilarious as well. In our very first full day game drive we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five THREE times- and while other cars and open topped touring vehicles had "seen enough" of whatever animal was nearby and left, Simon knew to wait just a bit longer and we were rewarded with amazing views of so many animals. The whole experience really was outstanding from the start- in working with Gavin during the booking process, to actually being in Skukuza and exploring the park with Simon. It's a rare thing to find a guide who is this passionate and enthusiastic every day about what they do, so we absolutely lucked out having Simon lead our trip.

Clare was a solid support during the planning and throughout the trip, and we could not have been more fortunate in our West Wings guide who was serving us a snack at 5:45 AM, cooking us dinner at 8 PM, and spotting and describing animals as he drove us around all day. (Two of us are in out late 70’s, but who needs a nap with excitement like this?) We were at both Skukuza and Satara Camps in the park in comfortable public accommodations. The trip was exactly as described in their itinerary, but there is no way to capture the transformative experience of the animals in their own habitat, viewed at leisure and with dedicated interpretation. There were three of us and only three other people in the van (I would choose these folks as friends), and the guide was a photographer, so understood to angle the vehicle so we all got good pics. The price is fantastically reasonable given the dedication of staff and the experience we had.

Prior to starting the tour it organised very well with Clare! Our Tour guide was Neil and we had a fantastic time over the 4 days we had with Neil, we seen everything we wanted to see, down to Neil's time management, persistence and luck we seen the amazing leopard and all the rest of the Big 5 during the tour. We had plenty of time to see each animal and the food cooked by Neil on the evening was fantastic, honestly I still feel I have a full belly! The tour felt very personal with the nature. The accommodation was very nice as well, there was cooking facilities on the outside of the rondavel and a lot of space on the inside. We was very close to the shop and restaurant in Skukuza rest camp. When there was specific animals we wanted to see Neil allowed more time for us to see them, so we are very grateful for everything during the tour and will recommend to everyone. I would say if you visit Kruger 4 days should be just about the right amount of time. You will be amazed at how much wildlife you see there, even though we was there during the drought, cant imagine what it will be like once it has rained! Thanks you Wild Wings and Thank You Neil!!!
