You will be accommodated in Hotel Bliss International or similar in Kathmandu for the first, second, and the last night and Hotel Parkland in Chitwan or similar for the third and the fourth night. Both are based on a twin sharing accommodation.


Day 1. Arrival at Kathmandu, Nepal, transfer to hotel

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) where you will be welcomed by the representatives and they assist you to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After freshen up, you will be provided the necessary details about the trips in Nepal.

Day 2. Kathmandu Sightseeing, Nepal

After breakfast and short interaction with the tour guide, you will visit Kathmandu Valley which includes Pilgrims site of Hindu and Buddhist, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the world biggest Stupa, Boudhanath and Swoyambhunath Stupa (monkey temple), historical Kathmandu Durbar Square with unique architectural temple, and incredible Kumari widely known as Living Goddess in Basantapur of central Kathmandu.

Day 3. Drive to Chitwan, Nepal

After having breakfast in early morning, you will drive to Chitwan by following the Prithvi Highway which takes six to seven hours’ drive with some tea and lunch break on the way. The view on the way to Chitwan is wonderful. You can capture high green hills and Trishuli River on the right while only hills on the left. You will check in on Chitwan resort at 13:00 with welcome drinks and briefing about the activities in Chitwan. After refreshing up for an hour, you will have buffet lunch at the resort and have a cultural tour to Tharu Village to see and learn about the ethnic people of Chitwan and also local museum tour. At the evening, you will have sunset tour from the bank of Rapti River. Around 20:00, you have a buffet dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 4. Full day at Chitwan National Park, Nepal

A wake up call in early morning will be followed by tea / coffee. After freshen up, the hotel staff prepares breakfast for you at resort’s restaurant. After having breakfast you will walk for canoeing along the Rapti River to view the waterbird and two rare species of crocodiles, the marsh mugger, and the gharial. After canon ride, you will continue for nature walks with trained naturalist to view the incredibly varied flora and fauna. You will get back to the resort for lunch break and followed by having two hours Jeep safari for an excellent opportunity to see deer, rhinoceros, leopard, sloth bear, monkey and Royal Bengal Tiger. You will also encounter many other reptiles and mammals that have made Chitwan their home. In the evening, you can enjoy Tharu stick dance. Then you will go to bed after dinner at resort.

Day 5. Drive back to Kathmandu, Nepal

After waking up in early morning, you will walk for bird watching after breakfast at the hotel. You will have the experience to view the migratory of many rare species of birds which numbers to more than 450 species, walking at the bank of the river. You will drive back to Kathmandu by the same road and take the same time. At the evening, you have a small gathering farewell dinner with the office staff, where you can share your staying experience with us in Nepal and make memorable moment with Walk Mountain.

Day 6. Departure

Today is your last day in Nepal. Walk Mountain Pvt. Ltd. will drop you to the international airport before two hours of your flight time. Then you will go back to your home taking the wonderful memorable moment spent with Walk Mountain Pvt. Ltd.



A typical hand-made dugout canoe will take you for a ride on the great Rapti River where you can see gavials and marsh mugger crocodiles basking in the sun and can enjoy watching the many colorful birds.

Jungle walk

You can enjoy a nature walk in the jungle in safety accompanied by a well-trained naturalist who through ancient groves of perch in a strategically located with a tower (Machan) to observe animals grazing, drinking at ponds, or resting in the bushes.

Bird watching

Bird lovers will have a wonderful opportunity to see many species of birds in the early morning as the new day dawns.

Buffer zone village tour

Experience the unique culture of the Tharu people. Relish what their culture is like in the Tharu Village museum in the heart of Sauraha near the resort. For centuries, the Tharus have lived very close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world. Visit the Tharu Village and share their world with them as you reach out to touch another culture.

Elephant Breeding Center

Of all the animals, elephants are the most graceful. The naturalist will take you to the Hatisar to demonstrate how elephant's meals are prepared and how they eat in the elephant breeding center. They will explain the nature and habits of the elephant. You can also enjoy the twin born baby elephant.

Swimming and elephant bathing

The clear water of Rapti river tempts you to swim in sunny days either before lunch or after lunch or just relax beside the serene river and watch the graceful elephants taking a bath.

Folk dance

After dinner, the friendly trained naturalist and jungle guide are there to make you feel at home and tell you jungle stories. This follows a breathtaking Tharu stick dance (a culture program performed by the ethnic group of Chitwan).

Visit the observation tower

Be calm and quiet on the 35-feet high wooden tower built in the prime location of the park, which offers unique chance to see the movement of the animals in the wilderness.

This safari will take place in Kathmandu Valley and Chitwan National Park, Nepal. Chitwan National Park (CNP) is a world heritage property, and it also contains a Ramsar Site - Beeshazari Tal in its buffer zone. The CNP has a history of over three decades in park management and a rich experience in resolving conflicts between the park and the people.

It is a rich natural area in the Terai, the subtropical southern part of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna, and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, and Gharial crocodile.
