Day 1: Moshi - Arusha National Park

You will begin the northern circuit safari by traveling to Arusha National Park. The game drive will take you to travel along the shores of Lake Momella and through the bronzed bush in Ngurdoto Crater where buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and gazelle reside throughout the year. Renowned for its flawless memories, the northern circuit safari offers more than the exquisite game drives. To make this safari more thrilling and memorable, you will go on a stroll. The stroll is a chance to feel the sensation of Africa’s vibrant pulse through the soles of your feet and experience the bush at its core. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk. He will guide you through the luscious forest up to the crystal waterfall and lead you to the area for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. You will stay overnight at a camp close to Arusha National Park.

Day 2: Arusha National Park - Tarangire National Park - Mto wa Mbu

This day, you will visit The Tarangire National Park after leaving Arusha National Park. You will directly go on a game drive there. After the game viewing, you will drive to Mto wa Mbu and reach the campsite in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Mto wa Mbu - Serengeti National Park

You will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park. It contains the world's largest concentration of wildlife including zebra, gazelles, lions, wildebeest, elephants, and giraffe. The seasonal migration of the masses of wildebeest is a magnificent sight. You will stop for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) and then the game drive will continue further into the park. Once the game drive is over, you will proceed to the Serengeti Camp where an appetising dinner and camping facilities will be provided.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will go on an exhilarating early morning game drive, following the tracks left by predators on the prowl that could lead you to their den. Then, a delicious lunch will be served at the park. In the afternoon, you will depart for the Simba Campsite, located at the Ngorongoro Crater rim.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park

You will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. You will have a scrumptious picnic lunch and go on a game drive. The dedicated, skilled, and experienced guides will ensure that you discover all the glorious wonders of nature in this place. Afterwards, you will drive to Fanaka Camp where they will provide you the camping facilities.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park - Moshi

Today, you will begin the day with a game drive. A lovely picnic lunch will be served in the park after the game drive. Then, you will go back to Moshi. Transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged on request.

The safari will start from Moshi. Then, you will travel to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Mto wa Mbu, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is a scenic haven that contains a high diversity of bird species. The African elephant is the largest mammal on land and the herds in the park are a remarkable sight that you might get to see. Tarangire's wildlife includes elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park is home to leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elands, wild dogs, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, and various antelope.

Lake Manyara National Park

A large amount of wildlife, as well as the fauna and flora, are traits that attribute towards the title of ‘Africa’s garden of Eden’. Due to the lofty structure, few animals migrate in and out of the crater, so there is a big chance of seeing every member of the Big Five in one day. You could also encounter vultures, zebra, hippo, wildebeest, and hyenas. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos, geese, and storks. Extending for miles along the emerald base of the gold-flecked Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park can only be described as an array of vistas. With over four hundred species, Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher’s delight. Some of the wildlife you may get a chance to see here includes buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, mongoose, klipspringer, and bushbuck.

"We took a day long safari trip from Moshi using Viva. Stephanie was wonderful in setting it up and coordinating the info. The safari itself was wonderful and we saw so many animals! Frank the safari guide was terrific. He was knowledgable, an excellent driver and did a great job in finding the animals for us. He also was more than willing to accommodate our unique requests to stop other places. The safari vehicle was clean, nice and comfortable. I'd use them again without question! Great job guys!!!!"

"We had an amazing time at both safari and the day hike to Kilimanjaro. I was in touch with Stephanie before we flew to Moshi and she was very patient with my needs and took care of every little detail. We stayed in their bed and breakfast which was an amazing experience. Stephanie and Alfred personally ensured we are comfortable. Oscar, our safari driver, was very knowledgeable, patient, caring, and friendly. We will come back in a couple of years to stay with them again and summit to the top of Kilimanjaro."

"During my stay at Rafiki Backpackers, I got to know Viva Africa Tours. I started with the Coffee and Waterfalls Tour. After a short trip, we arrived at a local coffee farm. I normally drink a lot of coffee but I never thought about how it is produced. I was really impressed by all the steps that have to be taken. It was a great experience to produce our own coffee and see how all of these red coffee beans turn into a great cup of coffee. After enjoying making and drinking coffee, we went up (and down) for the waterfalls. I experienced some amazing views and also the tour guide had a great knowledge about all the plants and fruits we've seen on our way to the waterfalls. After a small hike, we reached the waterfalls, where we jumped into the water. My second tour was the Kilimanjaro day-hike. Although I am not a real hiking-fan, you have to experience the Kilimanjaro-feeling when you visit Tanzania. I am really happy that the experienced tour guide and my group gave me some moral support when I'm climbing up. When we arrived at our end-station, I felt really proud that although I am not super fit, I succeeded in finishing this tour and that I have climbed on the Kilimanjaro. My last tour was a 4-day Safari. I can easily write a whole book about this experience and how amazing it was. Everything is well-organized with a tour guide with great knowledge about animals and private cook. We were really lucky to see a wide variation of animals and also see some animals hunting. I can highly recommend anyone to book the tours through Viva Africa Tours!"
