Magnificent Safari in South Africa
Join Van Brakel Adventures in a safari tour that will take you to explore the best part of southern South Africa! You will get a peninsula tour in Cape Town which will visit some of the great sights this area has to offer, even visiting the penguins at Boulders Beach. You are going to spend two days game driving in Addo Elephant National Park, trying to find the Addo elephants and the park’s elusive lions. If it is in season, you can even get a boat trip to see the whales.

Van Brakel Adventures will accommodate you in a guesthouse and other accommodations.
Day 1: Cape Town (Arrival)
Fly into Cape Town. You will get acquainted with each other and you will be debriefed on the activities for the next day at the guesthouse.
Day 2: Peninsula tour (100 kilometers)
You will make your way to some of the great sights this area has to offer. You'll visit Hout Bay and the markets for curio shopping. You also have the option to do a seal cruise in the Bay. You will go on one of the top ten scenic routes in the world, called Chapman's Peak Drive. You will also stop at the lighthouse at Cape Point along the way, and view the most South-Western Point of Africa, and end the day with the penguins of Boulders Beach.
Day 3: Stellenbosch (70 kilometers)
You will explore the majestic wine lands of the Cape and visit some of the best wine cellars and spend a night surrounded by the beautiful Hottentots Holland Mountain range.
Day 4: Oudtshoorn (400 kilometers)
You'll make your way into the Karoo, and visit one of South Africa’s greatest national wonders, the Cango Caves, where you'll do a tour through this underground wonderland.
Day 5: Karoo National Park (190 kilometers)
Today, you will explore this unique part of South Africa, with its succulent plants and Springbok.
Day 6-7: Addo Elephant National Park (370 kilometers)
You will spend the next two days exploring this great South African National Park. You will spend your days game driving, trying to find the Addo elephants and the park’s elusive lions.
Day 8: Knysna (300 kilometers)
You'll make your way to the town of Knysna, on the way there, you are going to make a stop at the Tsitsikamma National Park to view this wonderland of trees and cliffs, where the Storms River mouth flows into the sea.
Day 9: Free day in Knysna
You are going to explore this little town and have a bit of time for yourself.
Day 10: Hermanus (420 kilometers)
On the way to Hermanus, you are going to visit Cape Agulhas, the most southern tip of Africa.
Day 11: Full day in Hermanus
You will begin the day with an optional morning boat trip to view whales (when in season). You can use the rest of the day to relax and reflect on the days past.
Day 12: Cape Town (150 kilometers)
You will make your way back to the starting point in Cape Town. If weather permits and all goes well, you are going to end this magical safari on top of Table Mountain, after which you can do shopping in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Day 13: Fly back (Departure)
