Sample Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Dar-es Salaam
Pick up clients from Dar-es-Salaam International Airport or the Zanzibar ferry terminal and transfer to the city center for overnight at Durban Hotel for Bed and breakfasts only.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
Pick up from the point of arrival or place of staying in Dar es Salaam at 04:30, transfer to the railway station in time to board your train to Morogoro which depart at 06: 00, arrive in Morogoro Town at 07:45 where you will be picked up by your safari guide, then have a short break for breakfast
Before you proceed to Mikumi National Park for about 1 and half hours, arrival is in Mikumi around 10:00 and you will then have a game viewing drive in the park for about 6 hours.
During this short safari trip, you will have the chance to see the big four at Mikumi National Park such as Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, and crocodiles. The park also features a variety of ecosystems, from open savannah to riverine forests, making it a popular destination for safari enthusiasts.
Leave the park around 16: 30 to Morongoro Town in time for your train back to Dar es Salaam, which departs at 19:10 hours and arrives in Dar es Salaam at 21:08 then meet and transfer to your place of staying or at the airport.
